"10 calls,8 messages and she hasn't replied a thing", Jake thought worriedly. "Where could she be? I can't go to her house, If Max finds out, he would kill me. She should be asleep now. I'll call Mr.Travis, her neighbour.", he said to himself. He dialled Mr.Travis's number.
"Hello? Sorry to bother you Mr Travis but, is Hayley Osborne there? Any sign of her?", Jake asked. "Hello Jake. Long time no see eh? I heard some screaming from her house. A boy entered her house but that didn't look like- whats that boy name? Maxxy? Maxis? Melbourne?", Mr Travis answered. "-You mean Max? He's over at his grandma'sand not coming back till next week. By the way, thanks Mr Travis.", Jake interuptted.
Jake hung up the phone and was terrified. He didn't want to lose the love of his life. "I'd better call Max", he thought to himself.
"Yo?!", Max answered. "Are you over at Hayley's? Mr Travis had been hearing scream and a dude entered a house", Jake said. "What?! I'm heading there now!", he said but sounded neutral. Weirdo, Jake thought to himself.
Since I called Max,he'd be over at her place. He is her boyfriend but I should go- Nahh..She said she'd be alright.
He turned on the TV and a news headline caught his eye.

What the f***?! Its Hayley's place!, she screamed in his head.
Without hesitation, he ran out the house and dashed to the resident next to his. He knocked hard on Hayley's door. "Hayley?! Hayley?! Open this door now!", he screamed. The door creaked open but no one was behind it. He dashed in and fled around the house. "Hayley?! Hay-", he stopped.
He saw the clown holding an iron rod smiling right at him. "Looking for someone?",someone said behind the clown because the clown's mouth wasn't moving. "I'm looking for Hay-", he stopped. He couldn't believe his eyes! Someone stepped behind the clown and it was no one other that......
