(Complete) Naruto's Pain

Naruto's suffering ends

Sakura's P.O.V

I was the first to break from my shock after seeing Naruto in the condition he was in, I ran calling his name which in turn inflicted a groan from Naruto.

He was alive but for how much longer?.. he already had a pool of blood surrounding him and an empty pill bottle next to him. If I even tried to make him throw up the pills it would of caused more blood to bubble forth which would kill Naruto faster. When I felt for his pulse I found it was very weak.

It took me no time at all till I slowly layed him on his back and layed my head down to hear for a heartbeat and It wasn't good. I called out to Tsunade and Kakashi but, only Tsunade responded along with the Kyuubi who jumped down from Tsunade's arms and curled up next to Naruto not caring about the blood.

Kyuubi just whimpered while nudging Naruto's hand trying to get him to do something to ease the fox's fear sense that really was all he could do outside of Naruto's body. He settled with laying on his chest as his body very slowly shifted under naruto's weak chest movements. Tsunade pet kyuubi seeing he wasn't a threat in this state.

Time had felt as if it had stopped when Naruto had took his final shaky breath before laying completely still and became limp. the Kyuubi's cries after that happened were so heart wrenching I knew I couldn't hold it back anymore and I cried as well lunging forward holding Naruto close to me and sobbed into his blood soaked blond hair. Right here and now I had lost my very first teammate permanently.

Everyone had all registered what happened and soon their were no dry eyes around. Tsunade came forward to console me while slowly picking up Naruto and hugged him one last time and fixed the necklace around his neck to be visible to everyone while petting the kyuubi who had passed out but, was still alive. Kakashi in the background was trying to hold back his sadness but, failed. I could hear Kakashi and surprisingly Sasuke crying as well although very quietly.

We all circled around Naruto mourning our loss of a friend, a teammate, a disciple and a adopted little brother when iruka arrived. he finally found where we were and saw the scene in front of him he came over quickly to Tsunade and stroked naruto's hair while shedding tears as well.
