The Tutor

School is so boring. I can't wait until next month. Next month is the last month of school and I'll be out. The boys and I already have our summer planned as long as we all pass out finals.

I'm in first period English right now and I'm not even paying attention. This teacher is so boring. I usually skip this period because all this teacher does is talk. I don't want to hear talking this early in the morning.

There are about five minutes left of class until the bell rings. The door of the classroom opens and breaks my train of thought.

"Mr. Hemmings the principal would like to see you in his office." A girl said at the door. I recognized that voice. It's the voice of Cameron Myers, the nerdest girl here. Not gonna lie I pick on her occasionally. It's fun to do when I'm bored.

I stand up and walk to the door shooting the teacher a smile and walking out only to be greeted by Cameron.

"Hey Cameron." I say slightly pushing the small girl against the lockers. I guess I pushed her to hard because her head hit the locker.

I start walking to the office with her right behind me.

"Why aren't you in class?"

"I don't have a class this period. I help the principal during this period with anything she needs." She mumbled.

Of course, such an over achiever.

We walk into the the office and she knocks on the principal's door waiting for her response.

"Come in." Mrs. Shelly said and we entered the room.

I take a seat at one chair and Cameron sits down next to me.

"What do you need Mrs. Shelly?" I ask as polite as I could. I've been in this office so many times so this isn't new, but what is new that Myers is still in the room with us.

"Hemmings you are failing all your classes. You won't graduate this year if you don't get it together. So I'm going to have Ms. Myers here tutor you."

"What Mrs. Shelly I can't so that." Obviously she didn't know about this earlier.

"Cameron it's either you do it or I will withdraw your credit foe community service and you'll have to do it over the summer again." She sunk in her seat.

I really didn't think that I was doing this bad. I guess I'll have Ms. Nerdy help me with school so I can graduate and get out of here. I just hope she can look past the past and help me. I really need it.
