Calvin heard a notification pop up on his computer. He stepped away from his coffee pot to walk over to his PC. The notification went away as soon as he could see what it was. He moved his mouse to click on the Skype icon. His home page loaded and he could see a new message from someone he's never talked to before.

He clicked on the chat. He read the message on his screen.

hey there, I think I've seen you on youtube or something before. You seem cool.

Calvin clicked on the person's profile. They had a drawn out fox as their icon and their bio was just "fuck off, mate."

"Seems nice," Calvin rolled his eyes and clicked to go back to their conversation. He quickly decided on what to say back.

"fuck off mate", very original. definitely makes me want to talk to you

He got a message back almost immediately.

Calvin didn't get a response for awhile after that, so he walked back into his kitchen to get a cup of coffee. He was halfway through with pouring creamer into it when he heard another notification sound from his computer.

He sighed and finished making his coffee, before collapsing in his computer chair.

Calvin scoffed at the person's response.

Calvin wrote his response back and then waited a few minutes before clicking onto Sony Vegas to finish editing a video for later that day.

There was another notification.

Calvin laughed.
