Chapter 2

"Ever thought about robbing a bank?" Tiffany questioned Dionna.

Lately Tiffany had been trying to think of ways to get enough money so she could stop doing what she was doing for good and make a decent living for her self. For some reason she had been having a gut feeling it was time to stop. She knew she was in too deep to up and quit that's why her goal is to have a plan. She knew she had to pull away slowly but surely.

"No and I hope like hell your not." Dionna replied as she side eyed Tiff.

Tiffany played with the cover as she layed across the bed. "No actually I have something else in mind."

Dionna sat up , sitting her phone down giving Tiffany her undivided attention. She was eager to know what Tiffany had in mind. Dionna was down for damn near anything when it came to money. "Like what ?"

"A jewlery store." Tiffany replied as Dionna stale faced her and smacked her lips before laying back down. She grabbed her phone and her attention went directly back to it before she choose to reply.

"That's basically the same thing as robbing a bank. How the hell are we going to get away with that?" Dionna questioned giving Tiffany a puzzled look before looking back down at her phone.

"It will take some time but we can. I mean seriously baby d how long do you think we can do this? I'm twenty four your twenty six in a couple more years we'll be thirty." Tiffany stressed as she looked at her best friend for her to agree or understand where she was coming from.

"Until my looks go bad or my body and that won't be for another twenty years hell maybe thirty." Dionna responded in a joking manner but Tiffany was serious as a heart attack. The minute Dionna noticed that Tiffany was serious she stopped smiling.

"O god your serious? Baby t where we gone go from this to what? We both don't have a college education barely even a high school education. I have a damn GED lucky for you, you have a high school diploma but that still will leave us with two minimum wage ass jobs or two thirty year old graduates. Who would support us financially through college if that's the route because the way we live our savings will run out after the second year. Or better yet how would we afford the cost of living off minimum wage? I don't know about you but my taste is too expensive for that little pay. Sorry not sorry." Dionna ranted.

"Dede i know i'm just still trying to figure everything out. I know this isn't the move though. You don't think Karma exist? O baby it do. I'm just trying to prepare myself for the worst because it's coming for our ass sooner or later. Maybe a boutique or a hair business I don't know." Tiffany sighed as she placed her hands on her head. Her and Tiffany didn't call each other by their real names only the nick names they gave each other baby d and baby t. Sometimes Dionna called her Tiff for short or Tiffany called her dede.

"All these years? Why the sudden change? O my god your pregnant!" Dionna semi screamed with her mouth hung open wide before placing her hand over it.

Tiffany frowned her brows from confusion not knowing what Dionna was talking about. She was crazy as hell if she thought Tiffany would try to bring a baby into the lifestyle that they lived. Besides Tiffany didn't want kids she just felt like she would never be able to love a kid the right way because she was so damaged. She felt like she had done so many bad things that it would come back on her and her child. She wouldn't know how to ever explain to her child the person she was she would have so many insecurities it would fuck up her relationship with the kid if she were to have one.
"What? Hell no. We go get our birth control shots together every month and you know that. No babies over here. Plus I haven't had sex in i don't how long."

"Ok so what is it that has you wanting to get out of the game? Did you fall in love on me ? Don't tell me you did. We don't love these hoes we love money remember." Dionna reminded Tiff as she gave her a duh face expression.
