The Right Decision

Next Day

You-(get out the bed)

Roc-(wakes up) you okay?

You-(nods)

Roc-(gets out the bed and walks toward you) yn look at me.

You-(looks at him)

Roc- does your arm still hurt?

You-(lets the tears fall) yea.

Roc- did the doctor give you any pain killers?

You- nope

Roc- ima go downstairs and see if i can find anything that can help.(kisses your forehead)

You- okay (walks in the bathroom)

Roc-(walks downstairs)

Later that day

You-(watching cartoons with Harmony)

Harmony-(laughs)

You- Im about to go make a smoothie Want one?

Harmony- yea.

You-(walks in the kitchen)

door bell rings

You- harmony can you get the door?

Harmony- okay (opens the door)

Prince- hey harmony. (Walks in)

Harmony- whats up?

Prince- i came here to see yn. I heard about what happen.

Harmony- well she's in the kitchen.

Prince-(walks in the kitchen) bestfriend

You-(turns around) puff (hugs him)

Prince- how you feeling?

You-(pulls away) I'm getting better.

Prince- can i see your arm?

You-(shows him)

Prince-(rubs it) it looks like its getting better.

You-(nods)

Prince- what are you making?

You-(walks back to the stove) smoothie Want some?

Prince- yea. Is it cool if i kick it here with you and harmony?

You- sure.

Ray-(walks in the house) I'm home.

Harmony- hey taco

Ray- wassup little monkey.

Harmony- (makes a face)

Ray-(laughs and walks in the kitchen) wassup jacob

Prince- just came here to check up on your sister.

Ray- cool. Yn have you seen roc?

You- haven't seen him since this morning.

Ray- call him cause i heard that a thunderstorm coming.

You- well if one really is coming, we should call everybody and tell them to come over. I need some fun.

Ray- ight i'll call prod and india. You call roc and Ayanna.

Prince- i'll call reonna.

♨️Hours later♨️

Everybody-(watching tv)

Reonna- where's roc?

You- i don't know.

knocks on the door

You-(walks to it and opens it)

Roc-(walks in) sup.

Everybody- hey.

You-(closes the door and walks up stairs)

Roc-(follows)

You-(changing clothes)

Roc-(walks in and closes the door) are you mad at me?

You- no.(puts your sweatshirt and boots)

Roc- i got you the pain killers.

You-(takes them out of his hand) thanks (walks into the hallway)

Roc- why is everybody here?

You- there's a thunderstorm coming. (Grabbing blankets)

Roc- lets me get it (grabs the blankets from you) remember what the doctor said.

You- sure.(looks away)

Roc-(drops the blankets) yn what's the matter.

You- were you with her?

Roc- what?!

You- were. You. With her?!

Roc- no!

You- really? Cause you have lipstick on your cheek.

Roc- i stop at your grandma house. That were i got the pain killers from.

You-(folds your arms)

Roc- yn i know i messed up the first time but i promised you that it wouldn't happen again. And I'm keeping that promise.

You- how do i know you not lieing?

Roc- she told me to give you this. (Hands you a folded up sheet of paper)

Yn i want you to take one of these after every meal. This will help ease the pain. Then put ice on it. Don't forget to clean it. You don't want your arm to fall of do you?

You-(smiles)

Roc- I'm not going to hurt you again. Okay?

You-(sighs) okay

I hope i made the right decision to take him back. Even tho I'm all tough on the outside doesn't mean i don't have feelings. I'm still a girl who doesn't want to get her heart broken.
