Aaliyah and Kyndal have lived in Virginia their whole life, but have always been homeschooled. Aaliyah and Kyndal are bestfriends, as well as their moms. They all live together as a family. Once Aaliyah's mom dies, they have to attend public school...

Aaliyah's POV
"We've been homeschooled since we were kids! It's going to be scary going to actual public school!" I said to Kyndal a week before we had been scheduled to start school. We've always been homeschooled until... my mom died in a plane crash coming home from her business trip and Kyndal's mom couldn't homeschool both of us by herself. But enough about that!
"It's going to be fine Aaliyah! We will make friends I'm sure!!"
"Okay okay you're right I need to stop stressing about it." I said back to her. She always makes everything better. I love her.
Next thing we know we hear Kyndal's mom (Cindy) calling us down for dinner. We both looked at the time and said, "7pm already!?" And we ran downstairs to see what she made. She made chicken with mash potatoes, macaroni & cheese, and green beans. Yum!!
Kyndal's POV
Aaliyah seems so nervous to start school and I feel horrible. I know she's going to make friends and fit in! Ugh.
After dinner we raced back up to our room. Aaliyah went straight onto our phone, so I did too. We have a bunk bed. She was on the top and I was on the bottom.

We were both just chilling on our phones when all of a sudden Aaliyah literally jumped down off the top bunk squealing like she just got kissed or something. Before I could ask her what happened she screamed, "HE FOLLOWED AND LIKE ALL MY TWEETS!!" And then she did a little dance and went back to the top bunk without letting me say anything. "He" would be Jacob Sartorius. She's completely obsessed with him! And he goes to the school we are starting Monday. Maybe that's why she's so nervous, but I don't know..
Aaliyah's POV
I was just laying in my bed when the internet famous Jacob Sartorius followed me and liked all of my tweets on twitter!! I was such a fan girl and I freaked!!! I jumped off the top bunk screaming and dancing while Kyndal just stared at me laughing. I went back up still freaking out without letting her say anything.
