The Wedding

I glanced at the unfamiliar faces , their eyes followed me up and down , as if every second was another judging thought , is this my family ? I thought who are these strangers ?

I made my way through another set of stairs , a million thoughts running through my head , I finally saw my beautiful aunt in a gorgeous white gown , she smiled at me as tears filled her eyes it's been 6 years since the last time they saw me , I was merely 9 years old

Everyone came rushing in, my grandfather and grandmother , aunts and uncles , tears filled their eyes , it's been so long they spoke in rhythm

I greeted each and everyone of them , making my way through the the crowd , I released a deep breath of exhaustion , I looked around and my eyes met a tall dark haired beauty , his eyes were almost pitch black , scary but breathtaking , they glistened in the sunshine , his hair was a black curly messed gelled to perfection . His button up shirt hugged his muscles in ever delicious way possible, my legs turned wobbly , he was absolutely gorgeous. I couldn't stop staring so I forced my eyes onto something else , as I walked back to meet my aunt .

She told some friend to escort me to the seating area where the rest of my family was , as I elegantly made my way there , the dark haired beauty , once again made his way in to my line of vision , my aunt introduced me to everyone , and as we approached him , I could feel myself getting all hot and bothered , " Hey , this is Gabe , your cousin " , my heart dropped ugh he has to be my cousin , like everyone else I greeted him with a hug and I gentle kiss on the cheek except I let it linger for just a second longer , I couldn't fight the temptation of all the little jolts of electricity rushing through my lips and straight through my body , I could clearly see the look a mischief in his eyes

The night passed in a blur , we were all sitting , at the reception for dinner , I was with my younger uncle Loren which I hadn't seen in years laughing and sharing good times , just as soon as he walked up to Gabe , and I instantly hushed just taking in the view

As the night passed the conversation between us grew , Gabe amazed me with all his skills ranging from sports to music to passions , every word , every look engraved itself more and more into my mind

Soon my vision grew tired and I knew it was time to go , like the gentleman he was , he walked me up to my aunts car and opened the passenger door for me , just before he kissed my cheek and held me towards his chest , " I promise I'll see you soon " ...
