Wicked Games {Ziam}

Zigi is my biggest NOTP, i promise.

    "Hey! How's it going?" Gigi asks as she rests her hands on the back of Zayn's chair.
     "Pretty good," Zayn mutters. "I'm almost done. I only have a few more to sort through," he adds proudly.
     "Nice!" She nods in approval. "Hey, I'm about to take my lunch break soon and I was wondering if you want to join me?" She ask.
     "Yeah sure," Zayn shrugs. "Lunch is like... My favorite time of the day," he adds.  
     "Mine's 5:30," she tells him and they both laugh.
     "Cuz then you can go home and eat dinner," Zayn explains with a joking grin. Gigi laughs again then smiles down at Zayn.
     "Okay, so you finish these few emails really quick and meet me in 5 minutes and we can take our break," she suggests as she rests her hands on Zayn's shoulders.
    "Yeah that sound great," Zayn agrees. He watches Gigi walk back to the table that she another man were working at then turns his attention back to the computer to finish sorting the emails.
     "Hey!! I'm done!" He announces proudly after a few minutes. .
     "Great!" Gigi replies. "oh! Before we leave, this is Peter," she introduced the older man next to her.
     "Zayn," Zayn introduces himself as he shakes the man's hand with a small smile.
     "We're taking lunch now," Gigi tells Peter who nods approvingly then looks back down at the papers in front of him.
    "C'mon Zayn," Gigi calls as she grabs a jacket and her purse. Zayn says bye to Peter And follows her. They catch an elevator and take it down the the ground level and enter a parking garage.
    "Where are we going?" Zayn asks as he blindly follows her. He now realizes this probably wasn't the smartest idea. He just met Gigi. Yeah, she seemed like a super nice girl, but how did he know she wasn't a serial killer or something?
     "Out to lunch," she answers him as she pulls a set of keys from her expensive, designer purse.
     If she actually was a serial killer and she tried to kill him, Zayn would just accept his fate because he was so hungry and would take that chance.
     "Yeah but... Where are we going?" Zayn wonders.
       "I don't know. Where would you like to go?" She asks as she unlocks a small, expensive light blue Porsche.
     "I don't have any money with me...." Zayn suddenly realizes. His cheeks immediately turn red at his thoughtlessness. But then again, even if he did bring money, he wouldn't have enough to afford a full meal at a real restaurant.
     "That's alright. I can buy," Gigi shrugs as if it's nothing. Zayn nods. This girl clearly had money....
    "So...." Zayn trails off as he sits in her car.
"How long have you been working at... Payne Enterprise?" He asks.
     "Almost 3 years now," she answers in surprise. "But I love it though. Before this I- well... I had some pretty rough jobs but this one-I just love it," she tells him as she pulls out of the parking garage onto the city street.
     "Why?" Zayn asks curiously.
      "A lot of reasons. The people are easy to work with and fun, it gives me something to do- a purpose, it pays very well, and I just enjoy it. And also Mr. Payne is just... The sweetest. He really helped me out through some hard times. Gave me a second chance and helped me start over. You know?" She says as she casts a sideways glance at Zayn. But he didn't see it. He was too busy staring out the window Deep in thought.
    That sounded like what Liam had done for him. Given him a second chance and helped him start over.
    "Can you... Tell me more about him?" Zayn wonders curiously.
    "I don't know much about him, honestly. But I know he's single, not that that should bother you," she says jokingly with a smile. Zayn laughs and nods.
     That was good to know.....
    "Hard to believe a guy like him doesn't have girls just... Crawling all over him," Zayn adds, trying to play it cool and be chill.
    "Oh he does," Gigi tells him.
     "What? Then how is he single??" Zayn demands in confusion.
     "I don't know. He just.... Doesn't need someone right now I guess. Too focused on work or something," she suggests.
     "He probably just has 'one night stands'. Every night," Zayn mutters.
     "No I don't think so," Gigi admits.
     "How do you know?" Zayn asks.
      "I don't know him very well, but I think I know him enough to know he's not like that. He's very dedicated and committed. He wouldn't just go around like that," Gigi stands up for their boss. "You know, he's the one who made his business the way it is today," she adds.
     "I thought his dad started it," Zayn says.
      "He did. But he became ill and passed it on to his son who really put so much time and work and hope into it and just made it this crazy, huge, expensive, successful business," Gigi tells him. Zayn sighs at hearing this news.
     "Man, this guy's fucking crazy," he mutters and Gigi laughs at his comment.
     "Crazy isn't a bad thing," she tells him with a smile. "But he's so sweet and kind. He's just... Really such a good guy," she adds earnestly. Zayn nods, remembering what Louis told him the other day. If Liam was such a good guy, it wasn't right for Zayn to just use him to get his money. He didn't deserve that.
      Wait.... What the fuck??
     Since when did Zayn start caring about what Liam felt or deserved? so what if he gave him a job and tried to change him. He was still just a stuck up rich guy that Zayn still hated and wanted nothing to do with, no matter how 'nice and sweet' he was.
     "I don't know. He doesn't seem that great," Zayn mutters as they get to some fancy restaurant to have lunch at.

Honestly though I don't know what I'm even doing with this story.... But if you're actually reading it thank you so much! And I promise maybe soon something interesting will happen. :)  maybe......
