P.O.V Cheyenne (Xavier up top)
I woke up to something or someone next to me. I snuggled close to them, inhaling their scent. Then realization hit me. I got up as fast as I could and pushed who ever it was out the bed. Then I heard groaning.
"What was that for" Xavier said while rubbing his eyes
"I'm so sorry" I reached my hand out for him to take. When he held my hand I felt a warmth in me.
"It's okay beautiful." I turned away. If I was white I would be blushing so hard right now.
"I'm going to get you some bathroom essentials stay here." He left and I looked around the room.
I saw a picture of a man and women and a little baby girl in the man's arms. I got up to examine it closely when I realized that the man in the picture is Xavier. As I was looking at the picture Xavier came into the room.
"So I see you found my family" My heart feel into my stomach.
"Um where is your wife and kid now." He looked so vulnerable as asked him.
" Um we can talk over that after breakfast. You did tell me something so I deserve to tell you something back." He handed the bathroom essentials and went downstairs to get me clothes.
I took a quick shower so I could hear Xavier's secret. I looked to see a beautiful bright yellow sundress. I went downstairs to see Xavier cooking. I sat down and we ate in a comfortable silence.
"So Xavier umm-" I didn't want to ask him because it seemed weird
"So that picture was my wife and daughter. We were a happy family until my daughter Alexa had pneumonia. She died a few days later. My wife, Hasley started taking drugs. She was distant and would never talk to me. She ended up cheating on me and we got a divorce. I really tried to fix it but guess she didn't want to. She is in rehab so that's good."
I didn't want to give him pity because I know from experience that it's awful. I patted his back and got up.
"Listen I'm not going to give you pity because I bet you had enough to last you a life time. Just know that your never alone. I wish I had people to tell me that." I went upstairs just for that dramatic exit.
I came back later to find I had the house to my self. Then I started thinking why am I still in this house. My stay was way over due. I collected all my things, wrote a note just so I won't look ungrateful.
I walk to the bus stop making sure I had some money which I of course didn't and I don't know where the hell I am. I turn to hear a horn honking at me. Then I see some guy who used to be in the same gang I was in and was good friends with my dad.
Flashback Time (hehehe)
He dragged me around, screaming at me.
"You worthless bitch. You can't do anything right I asked you to kill that stupid little kid and you got your humanity in the fucking way."
He threw me on the bed.
"You have been a very bad girl. I'm going have to show you the consequences"
Flashback over
"Well if it isn't Daddy's little bitch I mean girl." He smirked at me. One thing I did promise myself was I would never give up myself pride while I was in that situation.
"While if it isn't Nico's little lab dog I mean friend"
"Still got the sassy little mouth I see." Just when I was going to say another sassy comeback. He cut me off
"Why are you even in this part of town"
"Wouldn't you like to know" I said flipping my hair.
"Yes I would like to know. That's why I fucking asked" God I hate him.
"That's none of your freaking business. Don't you think you did enough damage." He looked guilty.
"Yea sorry about that. Listen I'll just go but Nico misses you."
"Tell little Nico to miss one of his other hoes because I'm not one" i heard him mutter "stubborn little bitch".
"I really don't know why Nico loves you so much. You fucking annoying stubborn little bitch"
"Takes one to know one" I walk off done with this dude. I heard him sigh and get out his car.
"Listen nothing has been the same since you went to jail.
"Why would I care." He shook his head
"Just know Nico sent a search party out looking for you. This was why I was driving around here." Just when I was about to question the life out of him he drives off.
I look at my phone to see it was fully charged. I called Tamika to describe where I was. She quickly knew where I was and picked me up. I closed my eyes and listened to the radio not really wanting to talk. I heard the door open and eyes on me. I looked up to see the last person I wanted to see.
"Tsk Tsk you have been a very bad girl"
