The rest of the day carried on as it normally would, Tyler took the offered transportation home. When he arrived at the bus stop, he saw his brother's car driving up the street. He waved at him, and his brother's vehicle pulled over, next to him. He hopped in the passenger's seat, and his brother switched on his radio. an aggressive, loud song came blaring out, so loud you could feel the bass pass through your soul like you were a presence. His brother had made a quick detour to the gas station nearby, to purchase a package of cigarettes. those horrid narcotics designed to execute its victim. They lure their party into the financial and grey-coloured spiral, using its nicotine ploy. Carson pulls a role out of the cardboard box, clearly stating the risks of doing such task. inhaling the grey poison. He coughs and sputters. Lungs on fire, fishing another day from his brother.
"You understand how putrid that is for you, right?" Tyler questions
"Yes." Carson responds, clearly sounding annoyed.
"Then why don't you stop?" Tyler asks, soon rethinking his question.
"Because it's an addiction, Tyler" The tone of Carson's voice clearly indicates Tyler is getting on his nerves.
"Carson, you could quit and you know it. It just requires willpower, and maybe a little help from a doctor. it's so worth it to quit. It may be a good idea the moment you do it, but afterwards, you feel like crap, right? There are plenty other things to make you feel that way." Tyler spits. Without saying another word to each other, the pair hops into Carson's car. A quiet drive home.
Tyler lay on his Queen bed, texting Morgan. He had made a protective cocoon using blankets.
Morgan had been behaving a bit altered lately. More In her sky. Lost, bouncing around in the air like a stray bubble. She still seemed happy, which was a good thing.
"Hey ty guy?" Morgan Texted
"Yes?"
"How are you really. You can tell me anything." Morgan replied. Tyler strongly disliked this type of questioning, as Tyler spoke only the truth regarding his emotions. He could never quite understand why anyone would do otherwise.
"Ive already told you." Tyler responded
"is that the truth though?"
"Yes." Tyler was becoming annoyed.
"Ok." Morgan responded.
The rest of the conversation continued on like that. Un-intelligent small talk. That wasn't a bad thing honestly. A breather is nice once in a while. Unlike discussions with Spencer at times, Morgan was easy to talk to. It could be a good or bad trait depending on the occasion. Tyler then began a conversation with Spencer. They talked about school, the importance of exercise, mainly topics like that. Nothing extraordinary. They made plans to hang out on Friday, and said goodbyes. Soon, Tyler got a text from Morgan.
"I have to talk to you tomorrow." She said.
"Alright. May I ask the meaning of the conversation?" Tyler asked, but received no response.
