There once was two birds who flew together on the same wind.
Youthful ones, it was said their appearances were similar if not the same.
Lian and Anae where their names.
They two sang all night, all day. Through storms, fire, anger, and hate.
It was said their bond was unbreakable, but I know their true fate.
The winds began to change and Lian and Anae, older now, became torn apart.
Anae was pulled through storms while Lian was chained to a stone wall.
This did not kill them though.
Anae overcame the fire and found Lian still chained.
"Let me release the chains that bind you, so we can continue on!"
Lian laughs in her face.
"You moron, I am happy here I am fed, I am safe, you are the untrustworthy trespasser." She screeches.
"But Lian you are still chained to a wall, and does our friendship not mean anything to you?"
"Maybe, but Anae if you do not wish me to stay here, leave."
"Then that's exactly what I'll do Lian Goodbye"
Anae flew on, alone. She wondered why Lian refused to leave with her until she realized it was Lian who chained herself to that cursed Stone wall; she was there of her own free will. Was she truly happy there? Anae did not think so.
But Anae flew, she flew until she was reduced to a drop of blood.
Lian remained at the stone wall until she became stone herself and then dust. In the end all dust and blood become a part of the earth.
The stories and legends live on but truth gets lost with the winds of time.
