My wounds healed...how...
I looked up expecting sudden doom to see a friendly lady goat standing in front of me.
"What a terrible creature torturing an innocent youth." she sighed turning to me.
"Hello I am Toriel care taker of the Clouds." she smiled helping me up. She seemed genuinely caring and loving. Her dress was pretty too, it was a sky blue shade with what looks like giant cotton ball puffs surrounding it. It had a symbol on the chest which looked important enough. She extended her hand and I hesitantly grabbed it. She lead me through a door and I looked in awe around me. An actual building floating in the sky.
"My child you will face many trials. We set up puzzles to keep out intruders and the weak minded." I guess being a 16 year old in shorts and a sweater made me look young. I watched as she solved a puzzle to open a door ahead she didn't even have to think about it. Grabbing my hand again she leads me to a corridor and I look ahead to see spikes laying out in front of me.
"You will solve this puzzle in front of you." she nodded towards the death trap of spikes and I gave a weary sigh. I looked at it and wanted to see if there were any clues. If anything popped out about the spikes and looking closely some had holes underneath then and others were fixated to the ground. Taking a deep breath I let my foot sink into the floor to where the spikes with holes were. Luckily enough they fell underneath my feet I did the same for the next set of spikes and went on my way. Toriel looked happy as if she is watching her child ride a bike for the first time.
She lead the way ahead to a small room with a ragged old dummy. She stared at it and then to me.
"Talk to it."
"What?" I blatantly asked obviously confused.
"As you go about your travels in this world you will make choices that will impact your future, our future. Fighting or Acting can change this world in many ways. Monsters will fight you without mercy but you must get the best of them and become friends." I nodded and thought about it. I asked the dummy how it's day was and Toriel beamed at me pleased that I didn't hurt it. I don't want to hurt anyone. She lead me yet again past the dummy and into an empty hall.
"My child I'm going to have to leave you for some time. I have business to attend to but I will give you something. A cell phone. To keep you safe in case you need my assistance, it has my number already." I looked around and decided it was best to move forward.
