Volt Demon

Prologue

The time of the elemental warriors dates back centuries ago. Each of the elements Water, Air, Earth, & Fire were controlled by the chosen ones. Those who wielded the elements were considered gods among the regulars (humans). However, once every few years another element was able to be wielded by a gifted child. The child took on the title Volt Demon. The child was born with the element & considered a demon because during the old times lightning was said to be an element of the devil & only demons could use the power. Those with the curse showed exponential growth as a human being all together. The child lead both a good & bad life. He was hated by all but was the only one who could save the world from the evil sorcerer. The elemental warriors were sent off to fight the sorcerer but failed every time. That was until the volt demon was born. Only the child with the lightning element could kill the sorcerer.

"Seto the sorcerer is weakened end it now before its to late" yelled Elizabeth. The volt demon walked up to the sorcerer with his cursed tattoos surging with electrical energy. He walked with every thought surging through his mind"why me? Why is it that out of every child born I had to bear the curse of the lightning element? Why should I have to sacrifice myself for the well-being of others who see me as only a bad entity? I'll sacrifice myself so that I don't have to stay alive in a world that hates me." "He was called back from his deep thought by Ethan, "Seto hurry the fuck up & come kill him now before he regains his strength." Seto charged at the sorcerer with he had one last thought "I don't have to live with despair anymore." "You haven't seen the last of me!!!" Yelled the sorcerer before his life was taken & just like that the war was over & the world was returned to peace. Once again the elements were disbanded from the warriors and they went on to live normal lives. Its been 750 years since the last war and everything seemed good. Now the time for the evil sorcerer to return is coming he made a promise to make sure the upcoming war is one to remember for the ages.

Chapter 1- The Revealing

The darkness surrounded me making me beg, plead, & gasp for air. Where am I? "Hello?" I called out in the dark. What the hell is this place? I thought to myself. The ground beneath me began to rumble & a low, deep voice echoed everywhere, "your time has come Kenyon." "Who said that?" I yelled calling out to no one. " Come accept your destiny young one."

Beep, Beep, Beep, the alarm on my clock went off & it snapped me out of the deep trance I called sleep. What the hell was that all about, I thought to myself. That was the sixth time I had that dream & still I had no idea what it meant. I checked my phone to see what time it was even though my alarm clock was right there next to me. "Fuck are kidding me" I yelled at the top of my lungs. It was 8:35 I had only 25 minutes to brush my teeth & get dressed or I was going to be late. I did everything I had to do & ran downstairs to grab the keys to my dodge challenger. I saw a note on the fridge from my mom, went to work a little early made you breakfast it's in the microwave love mom. P.S. I haven't forgotten about our vacation weekend this week. I smiled with a hint of regret. I knew my mom loved me even though she was hardly home but I didn't have time to reminiscent or think about it to much I had to hurry to school. I lived in a suburban part of a town called bellowbrook. My school was exactly 30 minutes away by car & I only had a 10 minute window, "looks like I might get a ticket today" I said with a smile on my face. I started the car, backed out the driveway & sped my way to school. I did what little sightseeing I could while going 55 mph. I saw the corner store that has been through everything & when I say everything I mean it. The store had been used as a stack out, had been robbed, was held under hostage & so many other things. For a suburban area you think there wouldn't be any crime well think again. I also saw the ice cream parlor that me & my mom used to go to before she got the job at the law firm all the way downtown. The area was pretty good when there weren't any shots being fired or anything. I was hypnotized into my rapid eye sightseeing that I almost missed the turn to go into the student parking lot. I parked in an empty spot & hurried. I attended the infamous EdgeWood High where fights are a regular & half of the girls are pregnant. "Shit I'm late & homeroom's almost over" I said to myself. I came through the door that was my homeroom all eyes was on me. I was 6'3 with a muscular thick stature, black hair in a low-cut caesar, & these weird looking tattoos that my said my father gave me when I was 5. I mean who the fuck goes & tattoo's there kid's arms and torso. After awhile I saw it as whatever but I never hear the end of the same questions over & over again I would say them but its sickening enough as it is. "Well nice to see you this morning Kenyon" said my teacher snapping me outta my train of thought. "Nice to see you to teach" I said making a snappy remark. "Keep it up & you'll see yourself in detention". "Come on Ms.Johnson you know you love me." "You think every one loves you" said my best friend Terrell. We knew each other since 3rd grade & have been friends ever since. "It's only the truth" I said. "Just take your seat before I call security." "Yes Ms.J." The bell rang telling us its time for first hour. "So Kenyon that party was crazy last night wasn't it?" said Terrell. "We went to a party" I said completely confused at the question. "Oh that's right you got so wasted you probably don't remember huh? Dude you were dancing, making out with twelve different girls. Yo a rumor even started that you had a foursome with the finest girls in the school." I only stared at him in bewilderment knowing absolutely nothing of last night. "Are you sure that's me your talking about?" "Yeah I'm sure but you know what was strange?" "What's that?" "While you were on your little drunk adrenaline rush your tattoos started to glow & for a brief second it looked as if you we're emitting electricity." "Okay obviously I wasn't the only fucked up at that party if you were seeing that" I said while laughing at the same time. "Yeah I must've been. Oh by the way I need to tell you something. Some...." Riiiiiiinnnnnng the bell went off before he could get it out. "Gotta go just tell me later" I said rushing down the hall trying not to be late for the second time. "Alright" he yelled down the hall going in the opposite direction. While running I bumped into some guy with a black overcoat, black shades, & black hat. "Hey watch where you're going" I said with a tinge of attitude in my voice. "Uyor het neo." His language I just shook my king I hurried though the door that lead to my class. I took my seat next to my friend Joshua. "Hey party dude did you have a great time or what" he said stoned as always. Joshua was 20 years old & flunked the 3rd grade twice he was smart when he needed to be. "Was my partying so epic that everybody I call my friends know about it" I shook my head as I said it. "You damn right Terrell put the word out as soon as he dropped you off." "Hey pay attention & no talking while your in my class" snapped the teacher. "Man shut the fuck up Mr.E" Joshua said while ducking his head in the arm of his jacket. "Mr.Stilenski why don't you step out of my class." "Why don't you kiss my ass." After that comment the whole class went laughing. Joshua was a fuck-up but you could always count on him to make you laugh. "That's......." but a large rumble in the earth cut him off. "What the hell was that" I said in shock " I could've sworn we were in Florida I thought we don't get earthquakes." The same rumble happened again. "Sincerely what the hell was that" I said again looking for an explanation. Just then the classroom door was pushed inward & came flying towards me. I dodged it with extreme reflexes "how the hell did I just do that" I said thinking to myself in amazement. I looked up & in the doorway was a black creatures with scales for skin, a tail, & hands with sharp talons for fingers. He asked in a reptilian voice "are you Kenyon." I looked around listening for a response from anyone. His eyes were set squarely on me. The creature asked again looking at me with fire in its eyes, "are you Kenyon!?!?!?" All I could was look at it in shock. The creature charged at me with fire emitting from the his hand. "No!!!!!!" I yelled and threw my hands up. At the same time my tattoos glowed yellow & electricity shot from my hands & struck the creature knocking it through the wall creating a huge crater. I looked at my glowing tats & wondered what the hell is going on. "Dude your tattoos are glowing" said Joshua pointing out the obvious. I got up & went to the doorway to see where the creature went. I looked up & down the hall to find it, "where the fuck did it go?" The reptile piece of shit was nowhere in sight. Another rumble happened causing me to lose my balance. This time another creature that looked like a troll came out  of a hole that it made. It looked grotesque. Its skin was an dirty olive green. It had 2 teeth coming out from its mouth that were jacked. It stood probably at 7 foot 6 inches. The troll-like creature spoke to me in a low, deep toned voice, "your time to die is now." Everyone ran back into the room screaming for there lives. "Kenyon I don't know how you killed that last thing, if you killed it at all, but good luck killing that one" Joshua said before running back into the classroom with everyone else. The troll came charging at me with full speed. Wasting no time I turned around & ran for my life. I ran down the hall with the troll at my heels. I made a sharp turn going around the corner as I heard the the thud of the troll slamming into the wall creating another hole. I turned around thinking that everything was over when it came bashing through the wall next to me sending me flying through a wall & crashing into another. I struggled getting up after being hit by 2 walls & a troll,  "Fuck me sideways, I thought our linebackers hit hard." As i got to my feet the troll stood at the hole I made in the wall with only its face showing. "Your time is up, you won't be able to stop the sorcerer once I'm done with you." "Sorcerer wait what the hell are talking about." The troll wasted no time continuing the conversation with me, I wouldn't either I mean I'm going to kill you this conversation between us in irrelevant. he brought his club up. I closed my eyes thinking that I haven't done anything in my life it shouldn't end now. He swung the club down as hard as he could and all I heard was a bang. "Am I dead? I thought to myself. About an inches or two away from my head was the club and the troll with a plain stare. The troll fell to his side and i wondered what the hell happened. Behind the troll was someone I thought wouldn't see....my mother. My mother stood a solid 5'10 with a medium-sized athletic stature. She was in her usual lawyer attire consisting of brown slacks, a white button up shirt, and brown heels her coat must have been in the car. "Mom what the hell are you doing here?" As I approached her I could see sapphire green tattoos under her shirt. The strange thing was they looked exactly like the ones I had. "Mom when did you get tat.." "Kenyon lets go" said my mother cutting me off. "But mom what are y...." "Kenyon lets go now before more so up." While we were walking I wondered what did she mean by more. My mother went into the classroom and told Mr.E that she was taking me home. Everyone was in astonishment because both me and my tattoos and the tattoos i never knew my mother had were glowing. As me and my mom left the school i had a head full of questions that needed some answers. "Mom what's going on?" I asked with a hint of anxiety in my voice. She stayed quiet. I asked her the same question again, "Mom what's going on?" She still stayed quiet. Before I knew it we were outside getting in the car and as soon as we both were in i asked the same question again but there was more anger and frustration in my tone of voice, "Mom what's going on?" she still said nothing. I punched the passenger side window and made the whole thing crack into a million pieces and I yelled and cussed at mother, "Mom what the fuck is going on here?" My mother styaed quiet for a lil longer and then finally answered my question, "your in danger by something that i should've told you about a long time ago. To try and sum things up in the little amount of time I have left.....we're not exactly from earth Kenyon we don't even come from this galaxy we come from a planet far away from here inhabited by special people." I looked at her like she was crazy, "are you fucking kidding me huh. Do you really expect me to believe that bullshit." "Okay hold on you listen hear I could give a rat's ass about what the hell your thinking about but I am still your mother god so help me I will knock your teeth through that hole you just made in the window and you will show and give me the respect that you have always given me do you understand." I gathered and calmed myself down before I answered,"yes ma'am." "Okay mom don't lie to me what's going on here?" Once again she paused before answering, "lets get home and I will explain everything to you okay." The drive home seemed longer than usual due to the fact that I just had some creature and a troll-like thing try and kill me today. My mind  couldn't wrap itself around everything that happened in the last 4 hours of school and my life. My mom pulled into the driveway of what looked liked our house. The walls had huge gaping holes in them, the windows were all cracked and busted up and the door was missing. My mom hopped out of the car like nothing had happened to the house. "Mom, where the fuck is the door?" "Oh ummmm you see those things that attacked you at the school came here first and found me while they were looking for you and well your mommy had to fight them off." I was left speechless with nothing to say I followed my mom through hole where the door used to be. Something caught my interest though, my mother was rushing like time was winding down and that was the one thing on my mind. "Mom?" "Yes sweety." "If i may ask what the hell are you rushing for?" "Just wait a minute and I will explain okay?" I was baffled at what the inside of the house looked like, charred holes in the floor, walls, and ceiling, the staircase was missing the railing it had, and the furniture was missing bits, chunks, and pieces. "Well mom i see you had a pretty tough time here cause uhhhhh nobody could live in this motherfucker. This place looks like hell with dining room set of bullshit and a nice furniture set of goddamn." I looked around as my mom was doing whatever she was and those creatures had a sense of humor. I went up the stairs to my room and  Fuck you have a nice day was charred into the wall of my bedroom. "Kenyon come down stairs now." I ran downstairs wondering what it was she was yelling about. I walked into the kitchen and saw
