So many people associate a second with a worthless and uneventful part of their lives, however, some seconds last a lifetime. So many things can happen in one second and so many people overlook the importance of that second of their lives. One second is all it takes to make a decision, though some might argue that some decisions take quite a bit of thought and it takes a few days to make up a mind about it, when the decision is made after all that thought only a second has passed. In one second you can break a heart, loose trust, fall in love, fall out of love, get married or get a divorce. Each of those events may have taken a while to lead up to them but the exact second it truly happened. It is similar to looking back on a life and pinpointing when your life changed. Over the coarse of one hundred years, one day seems insignificant but one day could have been your birthday or your wedding day which are both life altering occasions. Seconds of a day are what you will always remember.
I want to challenge each and every one of you who read this to go sit in the middle of someplace busy and watch. Observe other peoples seconds and tell me what you can see happening. I promise if you watch close enough you can see almost into their souls.
