Chapter 10 - Phone Call

~Few days ago~

Jesy's Mother POV

Jesy just left the kitchen to go to her bedroom after our talk about arrange the party.

I feel so sorry for Jesy, she looked so upset when I said Jake couldn't come to the party.

I quietly sneaked upstairs and went to Jesy's door.

I was about the go in when I heard sobs.

Is Jesy crying?

Jesy rarely cries.

I need to get Jake to this party, it's what Jesy needs.

I go back downstairs to the kitchen and make myself a drink.

How am I going to get Jake to come to the party? 

I have no contact with him.

I sat drinking my tea just thinking.

Then it came to me.

Call history.

I got my phone and went to my call history and scrolls through all the past phone calls.

I was and know with the name 'unknown'.

That must be him.

I pressed the call number.

Ring.

Ring.

Ring.

Ring.

Come on pick up.

Ring.

"Hello, who is this" I heard a male voice.

"Hello, this is Jesy's mother, are you Jake?" I said.

"Yes, it is. Is everything okay?" Jake said.

"Not really. Jesy is really upset at the moment and were holding a party for her and I was wondering if you could come to the party and possibly cheer Jesy up?" I asked with crossed fingers.

"Of course, ill do anything. Whens the party?" Jake asked.

"This Saturday" I said.

"Okay, I guess i'll see you Saturday then" Jake said.

"Yes, thank you ever so much Jake, you don't know how much this means to me and especially Jesy" I said.

"Anything for you and Jesy" Jake said.

"See you Saturday" I said and ended the call.

I hope this will make Jesy happier.
