My First True Love

Christmas Special

It has been a year since I gave birth to my baby girl. Alexander and I decided to name her Ecaterina for beauty in Romanian. Our beautiful girl has brought us happiness and hope in our lives.

But what I’m excited for the most is our first Christmas celebration as a family. I called Marisa and her family in the morning so they should be here in a few days so that leaves me in charge of decorating the house and get Christmas presents.

“Love, what are you doing?” Alexander asked coming to the room. I looked up and smiled happily to see him.

“I’m making a Christmas list” I said pointing at the list in front of me. Alexander chuckled shaking his head.

He sighed sitting in front of me. “What do you have so far?”

I looked at my list and scanned through it very carefully. “Jane?”

I blinked a few times before looking back at him. “Yeah, sorry. I’ve been distracted lately. There is just so much to do”

Alexander leaned closer and wrapped his arms around me. “Everything is going to be alright” he whispered trying to soothe my nerves. I hugged him close and rested my head on his warm chest.
