When I wake up, I realize today is the day. I haven't been so excited in forever. Today Liam and I are going to have our very first alone hangout. Gahhhhhh! I can already feel the butterflies and nervous sweats. As I continue my morning getting ready, I realize I should eat something. However I decide against it just in case I get super nervous and through it up. It takes me over an hour to pick an outfit, I have a pile waist high of outfits that I feel won't meet his standards. I finally decide of a blue sundress, this dress shows a lot of cleavage. I'm worried he might think I'm trying to hard. But I get nothing but compliments when I wear the dress and he's a senior (he must love boobs ahah). Then I hear a *ping* I dive across the room in search for my phone. One new message.

Liam: Heyy I'll meet you by the school in ten, Deal?

Me: actually I've got tons of homework to do might be more entertaining that chilling with you.

I try to sound flirty and respond with sassy comebacks but I always feel stupid. *ping*

Liam: very funny baker but it's summer and I know you can't resist me.

I love when he calls me by my last name, it's the first nick name I've ever had. I quickly type back

Me: carful when walking to the school, be sure not to trip over your ego ;)

Liam: nah that's you, you're the uncoordinated one silly.

He's right though, I'm probably the most clumsiest person you've ever met. I'm finally ready, off we go. I get to school before him, two minutes have gone by. Hes late, leaving me to question, where is he? Has he ditched? Is he hurt? Was he even planning on showing up? As my mind races with thoughts and disappointments, I feel a slight poke on my back. I jump in fear of what's behind me, I let out a small scream. He just chuckles, I turn around to see Liam. He's wearing shorts, and a blue button up shirt. This shirt really brings out his blue eyes, I can't help but stare. "I knew I'd get you screaming just thought we would be naked and in your bed first brooks" he says trying not to laugh. I'm getting nervous and my face must be red. I respond with "in your dreams lawkly" we have this sort of habit now calling each other by last names, he started it.

We wonder on down to Toms (only the best place to get a nice meal for cheap, with good music) and grab ourselves some cool drinks. As we sit there and talk I notice a boy clearing tables, I think to myself. I know him, where from? Hmmm. The baseball games! He's number 13, my lucky number. He's shyly looking over at Liam and I, I give him a small wave, and he pretends to be busy. Clearly noticing that I caught him starring.

Anyways hours go by with Liam, he's so great to talk to. I mean we've had hundreds of conversations over text but none face to face other than discussing the okay we were in last April. Every time he says something sweet or funny, I get these intense butterflies. The thing I like about them is he can't see them. Unlike my ear to ear smile when he compliments me. i check my phone only to realize I should've been home 20 minuets ago. I apologize to him and explain that I need to be home. As I get up to walk away he begins to follow. I question his pathway "lawkly I thought you lived on the other side of town, why are you walking this way" he smiles and replies with "I'm being a gentleman, a lovely lady like you shouldn't walk home alone" I don't disagree, it's sweet to think that he wants to walk me home. We approach my house and I smile goodbye, he pulls me in for a big bear hug. Surprised it takes me a few seconds to understand, I hug him back and walk to my door. Turning to notice him starring at me. "It's impolite to stare Liam" I shout over to him. He laughs and yells back some response about how he's admiring my ass. Sweet talker eh.

A few hours later I get a text, I look down to notice his sweet name on my phone.

Liam: baker, your eyes are the prettiest shade of blue ever.

I can't help but smile. I think of a response

Me: they match yours lawkly.
