Katie POV

           I was outside by the forest under the night sky when I heard someone saying my name "Katie, Katie" I turned around and saw a very beautiful lady. I ask her "Who are you? How do you know me?" "My child I know who you are and I know that you have suffered a lot." She told me. "Who are you?" I ask her again. "I am someone who hears everything and see everything." She told me. "You're the Moon Goddess." I told her. "Yes, I am." She answered coming near me. "I know that you have suffered a lot." She told me. I look down. "But don't worry your life is going to change." She continued "What do you, mean?" I ask her. "Your life is going to change soon. You are going to have a long way until you have your happy ending." She told me as she walked away "Wait, what are you talking about" I said. "Don't worry child in due time you know. Just remember I'll always be watching over you and don't forget listen to your wolf." She said as she disappeared. "Hey wher..."

          "Wake up! You fat ass!" I heard my big brother yelled at me. Let me tell you about myself, my name is Kate Elizabeth Scott but my friends call me Katie and I am almost fifteen years old. I have long dark brown hair with hazel eyes. Also, I am a werewolf. I live with my big brother Chase David Scott and my Dad David Liam Scott but he is never around and then there is my mom Alice Carly Scott, she was killed or kidnap when I was seven years old, I don't remember. After my mom disappear, my dad got so into work that he didn't spend time at home. My brother blamed me for everything that has gone wrong in his life. I have a job as a waitress at Moonlight Grill the owner was my mom best friend, she is my Godmother Kate Woods, I am named after her and she is my best friend mom. Well I have to get up before he starts screaming more.

          I got up and took a quick shower and got dressed. I am wearing black jeans and a white shirt. I put my hair in a bun and went downstairs, I see my brother looking pissed. I was getting breakfast, until my brother told me "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" He screaming at me. "Getting some breakfast" I tell him in a quiet voice. "WHY, YOU'RE ALREADY FAT LET'S JUST GO BEFORE I MAKE YOU RUN TO SCHOOL!" he says screaming. They called me fat, loser, pathetic, and many others. Everyone at my school except my best friend Carly Woods and the adults. The main bullies are Amber West and her two minions Jasmine Jones and Kelly Martin, and that are just the main girl and for the guy in the pack is my brother Chase and the soon-to-be alpha Derek Conner Lockhart, they are my tormentors.

          Once in my brother car I went in the back seat because he is going to pick up Derek, so we could head to school. When we are outside Derek's home which also the pack house, the pack house is where we have the pack meeting and where the unmated wolves stay, he is outside waiting for us to come, he gets in. "Hey man." He said. "Hey, Happy Birthday man, are you excited to see who your mate is?" My brother asks him. "Thanks, man." He said "Yeah, I can't wait." He continues. "So, who do you hope would be your mate?" Chase asked him "Man, I just hope that is Amber man." He answered. They continued talking. That right today we get to find out who is Derek's mate and our future Luna. When the male and female wolves turn 16, they get to see who their mate just by touching them and felling sparks and by a scent that only they can smell. When they see each other in the eyes it like no one else is there but just them. Ever since I was little, I had a huge crush on Derek and I always dreamed that I was his mate. But that is just false hopes and dreams. I didn't hear Derek talking to me. "COME ON LOSER!" He screamed at me. I notice that we were at school already.
