Months went by, as the distant memory of your parents passing lingered in your mind.

The girl you once shall in the mirror withered away, the place you called home was now an orphanage the thought of it, made you cringe. On a dark cloudy night you decided to sneak out, your fingers quietly pushing open the window, your feet making content with the sidewalk wincing in the burning pain shooting through your feet. The screen of your phone lighting up not even catching your attention.

The cold outside air hitting your face, your fingers tangling with the wire of your earbuds pushing the aux cord into the headphone jack, the music blasting in your ears felt like a movie scene, the streets of NYC unexpectedly quiet, well until a sharp scream could be heard in the distant. A pale young girl was curled up on the floor, a group of males huddled around her throwing punches and kicks to her body frame.

A rise of panic grew inside of you a life or death decision playing out in your head, save her. No that's to risky but if I don't she'll die. Forget it I have to save her.

"Leave her alone or I'll fight" the anger in your voice not once fazing the males, earning a laugh from the tall one. "You act so tuff for your age, mind saying that again" he teased causing another member to retaliate mocking your expressions. His arm raised to your face aimed with the desire to hurt you.

As of on instinct from past memories your body reacting quickly to the action, a distant sound of sirens wailing in the distant. On cue the male's disappeared leaving you and the other female behind.

"Are you okay?" A voice rang out from a far distance, your eyes squinting into the darkness trying to observe the source. However from the tone it wasn't the young female in front of you, "um yes we're okay, she's injured but nothing the paramedics can't handle." To your surprise you were able to address the voice without knowledge of the source.

The figure laughing "well I guess you have the situation all figured out I'm Donatello by the way, you can call me Donnie" from the sound of his voice you knew he was smiling without consent you responded cursing yourself under your breath, this was a total stranger you were addressing.

"Nice to meet you i'm-"  caught mid sentence the officers arrived on scene consuming you for answers, a gush of wind hitting your face the stranger no where to be seen, almost as if he was just a figment of your imagination, who would blame you this night has been quite crazy.

The thought of news headlines swarming in your mind, for sure the orphanage would have wind of this buy tomorrow morning, shaking off the thoughts was quite an experience. You shook it off unplugging your headphones stuffing your phone in your pocket climbing up the ladder you kept leaned against the building for sneaking out purposes.

Throwing yourself onto the bed a glimpse of the window catching your view, whoever the mysterious stranger was he was long gone, possibly you would have never met again. A sigh left your lips setting your phone on the night stand drifting off to sleep, only for a mysterious stranger to invade your dreams
