Just a Confused Drunk Guy

"BOYYYYSSS ONLY WANT LOVE IF IT'S TORTUUURREE! DON'T SAY I DIDN'T, SAY I DIDN'T WAARRNN YA!"
Me and Skylar sang, well more like screamed, along to the radio.

We were on our way to a college party. Because we are in college. We are finally I college!!

I can't believe me and Sky both got accepted into MSU. It is literally both our dreams come true.

"CAUSE IT'S GONNA BE FOREVER! OR ITS GONNA GO DOWN IN FLAAAMMESS. YOU CAN TELL ME WHEN ITS OVER! IF THE HIGH WAS WORTH THE PAIINN!"

I am so excited that my palms are sweating. Or is that because I'm nervous?

This will be the first huge party I have been to. Skylar has been to a couple in highschool so she said she is just excited. I hope I will have fun!

Skylar turned off the radio once the song finished. "Okay so this is your first party. You have never been drunk before so don't drink too much because I don't want to drag your ass out of there." Skylar said to me.

"There will be guys trying to hit on us because we are sexy as hell. We can flirt a little but let's try not to end up in a bedroom alone."

"Okay, mom." I chuckled. She smiled and shook her head. "I'm sorry I'm just nervous for you. These parties can get out of hand really quickly and you haven't ever been to one before. I'm just looking out for you."

"I know. I'm nervous as hell for me too!" I laughed.

"Here we are." She said as we pulled into the lawn of the party. My mouth dropped open. The place was trashed. There was toliet paper littering the trees and empty red cups everywhere. Girls wearing little strips of cloth were hung over guys and the music was pounding in my head.

Sky looked at me. "Its okay Ella, this is what a normal party looks like. You and I will be just fine." I nodded and got out of the car.

"Let's go inside." I said to Sky with a nervous grin. I am excited. And nervous. But mostly excited.

As soon as we walked into the living room we were handed red solo cups. Brown liquid filled the cup. I put it to my lips and nearly gagged. It burned my throat as I swallowed it and it tasted disgusting. How the hell does someone drink this?

I will just get some water from the kitchen.

"I'm gonna dance Ella, do you want to come?" Sky asked me.

"No you go ahead and have some fun, I'm gonna get some water from the kitchen. This is disgusting." I pointed to the cup in my hands.

Skylar laughed "Okay don't get lost."

I playfully rolled my eyes and started looking for the kitchen.

I pushed my way through the crowd of sweaty people until I found the kitchen. I put the red cup on the counter and filled an empty one with water.

"Don't like the taste of beer, Ella?" Someone said behind me. I turned around and saw a guy with blond hair and blue eyes. He had muscles but he wasn't ripped. He was taller than me by a lot. His eyes were a deep crystal blue. They were beautiful, really.

He chuckled, snapping me out of my staring session. My cheeks flushed red and I looked down. "Um, n-no not really." I replied. I can't believe he saw me checking him out.

"It's good to see you after so long." He said. Huh? I don't even know who this is. He must be drunk. But I didn't smell beer on his breath... And he knew my name.

"You must have me confused with someone else." I said and began to walk away. He grabbed my arm. Not frocefully, but enough to make me turn around.

"You don't remember me?" He said. His blue eyes were full of...sadness? He is upset? But there was something else to. Anger, it was anger.

"Um no, I'm sorry." I said. I turned around and ran into the group of people.

He didn't follow me. Or I didn't see him at least. I found Sky talking to some guy. He smiled and grabbed her hips, pulling her closer to him. She laughed and pushed his hands off her. Sky said something and walked away.

She made eye contact with me and made her way towards me. "What's wrong Ella? Did something happen?" She asked with a worried expression. "Nothing. I'm fine." I said. I didn't want to ruin the party for her and it wasn't a big deal anyway.

It was just a confused drunk guy, I told myself. But my stomach disagreed with me as it twisted.

"I know you better than that. What happened?" She asked again.

I shook my head and said, "Nothing. It's just that some guy thought he knew me."

She looked at me with disbelief.

"Really Sky I'm fine. Let's just enjoy the party. Now tell me about that hot guy you just walked away from." I said trying to change the subject. It worked. She smiled and started rambling on about him.

I was mindlessly scanning the crown when I made eye contact with someone. It was him. I couldn't forget those eyes if I tried. He began walking towards me. I panicked. It was stupid, I know.

But something just didn't feel right in my stomach. "Um Skylar let's go outside. I need some fresh air." I said cutting her off.

She looked confused as I grabbed her arm and ran outside.

"Okay spill it. You are definately not fine." She said to me with a stern expression.

I told her everything. She listened contently not interrupting me once.

After I finished she said, "Let's just get out of here and go back to the dorms."

I agreed and we left. It was dark out. Like really dark. I am surprised because it isn't that late. It is only 10.

The ride was silent because Skylar was focusing on the road. We stopped at a cross section. I saw a car on my side heading towards the cross section. But they didn't slow down. "Um Skylar, I don't think that car is gonna-" I was cut off by the car slamming into my side of the car.

I felt and heard my bones crushing and snapping. I scream from the intolerable pain.

Then, all I saw was black.
