Rodney has been going to work early for great new ideas he has been getting for his new inventions. Wonderbot mainly rests in his small bed on the side of his desk. Almost every day, he gets his iPad out to draw his new ideas. He has just moved into Robot City with his own home. His father is doing a lot better and he now owns the restraunt he was once working in and made Mr. Gunk the dishwasher. That made Rodney crack up. Fender and the others still live at Aunt Fanny's but Rodney plans on when he gets paid he will help him and the rest of his family get their own homes, maybe even help design. Lately, a really huge invention has been in Rodney's mind lately, that he could never get out. One thing he could never forget once he came to Robot City. He met a beautiful young, smart woman named Cappy. Ever since he saw her, he wanted to show her the ways he lived and his inventions since he was a kid. He has finally decided to make something very special. With the help of Wonderbot he plans on making a necklace. He drew it all out on the iPad and has began to work on the ring part, and had some great help from Wonderbot. As days and days past, he has been making it for a month and Cappy still had no idea. One day at work, Rodney was finishing the placing for the jewel but he needed a favor from Wonderbot.
"Hey Wonderbot", Rodney looked at him with a graceful smile.
Wonderbot flew to him with a squeak.
"Can you go outside and make sure Cappy is not outside my door?" He asked.
Wonderbot nodded and quickly flew to the door and opened it with a quickly SLAM!
"Ow!" A voice fell on the ground.
Wonderbot looked to see who it was, his eyes widen. It was Cappy! Wonderbot screamed and quickly flew back in Rodney's office.
Rodney quikcly looked up to Wonderbot and stood from his desk.
"What Wonderbot?" He grabbed him to look at him straight in the eyes. "What? What's the matter?"
Wonderbot just shivered and pointed to the door. Rodney took a look outside and his eyes widen once he saw Cappy. He rubbed his helm in worry.
"Oh no", Rodney sighed but quikcly turned to Wonderbot. "Wonderbot! Hide the present. Hurry."
Wonderbot nodded again and flew back in the office. Rodney ran out to check on Cappy. He got down on one knee and placed his hand under her black hair and lifted her head up to see if she was okay. She opened her emerald green eyes slowly and Rodney could have sworn she was blushing because her cheek was getting warm.
"Cappy?" He rubbed her cheek with his thumb. "Are you okay?"
Cappy smiled with a slight giggle and placed her hand over Rodney's. "Yeah, I'm alright."
Rodney sighed with a smile as he used his other hand to grasp hers and helped her up. He helped dust some stuff off of her dress.
"You sure your okay?" Rodney frowned.
"Rodney I'm fine." Cappy said. "What happened anyway?"
"Well Wonderbot was coming out and I think he accidentally hit you."
"Oh, well tell him it's alright and I'm not mad at him." She said as she placed her hand on his shoulder in comfort. "Can you help me pick up the papers?"
Rodney was confused for a minute than looked around to see that a lot of papers were on the ground when she fell.
"Oh sure." Rodney nodded and began to pick up papers.
Cappy smiled and began to do the same. Rodney heard Wonderbot so he quickly turned his head to see Wonderbot coming out with the surprise. His eyes widen and he quickly slammed the door on Wonderbot, also dropping the papers. Cappy looked at him confused.
"Are you okay?" Cappy spoke.
"Yeah", Rodney said as he began to panic to think of a good excuse to keep her gift hidden. "Wonderbot has been glitching a lot lately."
"Oh", Cappy just nodded and continued to pick up the papers.
Rodney helped pick up the rest of them. Once they were done the looked at eachother and Rodney smiled at her beauty, she smiled back which made him blush.
"Your really pretty", Rodney whispered.
Cappy then began to blush a pure red like a rose. Their faces began to draw closer like a magnet but she snapped out of it and pulled back, making Rodney frown.
"I'm sorry", Cappy said. "I need to get going. I have a meeting."
"Oh", Rodney was frustrated that he forgot but tried not to show her. "Right. I forgot about that. Well, will I see you tomorrow?"
"Of course I will. And thank you for helping me with the papers. Your a really sweet man."
Rodney's frown grew into a smile.
"I will see you around." Cappy said.
"And I'll be here", Rodney giggled.
Cappy giggled as well. "Alright. Bye."
She waved and walked off to the Meeting Room. Rodney frowned as he waved. The worst part of the day was saying "goodbye" to her. He hates doing it and he wishes he can just stay with her for a while longer. He as he opened the door to see Wonderbot with his files in his suitcase and just smiled a "thank you" to him and walked out Bigweld Industries.

"Wow..." Fender almost choked on his drink from across the table.
"Yeah, I know." Rodney sighed as he placed his hand on his cheek and relaxed his elbow on the table, not looking at Fender, but just thinking.
Wonderbot sighed and took a sip of his chocolate milk and tapped Rodney's shoulder. He looked at him with a smile.
"It's okay Wonderbot. It wasn't your fault, besides she wasn't mad."
"Yeah but it embarassing", Fender took another drink.
"Yeah that helps a lot Fender. I don't even know how to talk to her. Whenever I do, I sound like this fool."
"So?"
"So what should I do?"
"Be yourself like you were there."
"So keep acting like a fool?"
"Your not being a fool or else Cappy wouldn't be interested in the first place when she saw you. That's how me and Loretta ended up together.* He blushed as he thought of her face with the makeup and red hair.
Rodney rubbed his eyelids in irritation. "Oh god..."
"Hey!" Fender got Rodney's attention. "You asked for advice? I'm giving it to you. Who likes me when I am, what people call me insane and embarassing."
"I never called you that back then when we met."
"You were scared there won't you?"
Rodney thought of his response but wanted to he nice about it. "A little bit."
Fender wasn't offended, he just kept going. "When I saw Loretta with my own two eyes, I knew she was the one. You just know because your heart beats faster than your mind. And when I just acted like my crazy self, she wasn't afraid or embarassed. She moved with me and laughed, that's how I knew she was the one. You see what I'm saying?"
"Be yourself?" Rodney finally understood what Fender was saying.
"Exactly! Now tomorrow, just be yourself and show her, well you already did. You can shine no matter what you are made of pal."
And that's what Rodney was going to do tomorrow.
