The airport was bustling with trainers from all parts of Kanto. Some from Cerulean City, others from Fuchsia City. Everyone had their pokemons with them at their side, including me. I had my young Eevee, the only pokemon i never trained. He was just so perfect as it is, i never wanted him to change! Now though, he has witnessed several others on my team train and evolve, not him though. I've told him over and over again, "Don't worry Lucky, I promise the next adventure we go on ill evolve you into the powerful pokemon your meant to be! I guess that times come. I look at the time on my passport and then to the clock on the wall.
"8 am. I guess it about time for me to board." I lowered my gave to my beautiful silver-white Eevee at my feet. "Are you ready buddy? Its time to head out!"
Lucky sprang up to his feet ready to go. He's been itching to learn how to battle like his friends. I just hope he can wait another day or two at most. The intercom clicked on, and a feminine voice rang throughout the airport. "Fight 52 for the Kuros region is now boarding. If all passengers will please get into a single file we will have you on in no time! Thank you."
Lucky and I boarded the plane after only five minutes. "uhh, lets see, seat A24" I pondered aloud as i walked through the isle way. "Over here darling. You're sitting next to me!" A scratchy voice called. I looked up to see a small old woman about half my size waving me over. I slowly made my way over and sat down next to her. Like usual Lucky wasn't far behind, he ran up and took a big leap onto my lap and curled up into a ball. "Awwe, what an adorable Eevee you have!" The woman said.
"Thanks! His name is Lucky." I said and stroked Lucky's silver fur.
"He's a shiny isn't he?" She said in a hushed tone. "You know, those are quite rare. Especially an Eevee. Tell me. How did you get your hands on that little guy?"
"Ah yeah, he is a shiny. I found him on a rock in the middle of river, I guess the water rose and he got swept in. When i saw him jumped in, and got him. I gave him the option to run off, but he just followed me home and never left. We've been together ever since."
The old lady smiled at my little story, and reached over to pet him. "He's so soft." she laughed. Her face seemed to light up at the sight of Lucky. Her reaction was like no one else's. Everyone else just seemed to be uninterested, shiny Pokemon must have been more rare back when she was a little girl. The old lady petted Lucky for a long time until a boy in front of her pushed his seat back on her.
"Oh my!" she said in a panicked tone as she raised her hands up to try and make space to move. I looked at the boy with a face of annoyance. He was wiggling in his seat and putting in his ear buds, getting ready for a in flight nap. I sat up and took out one of his ear buds. "Hey! Could you please sit you're seat up? Your hurting the lady behind you!" He quickly looked at me and then to the old lady next to me.
"oh, I'm so sorry ma'am! I didn't think anyone was behind me." He boy lifted his seat up and resumed with his nap.
The old lady looked at me and gave me a wide smile. "Thank you very much. If I may ask, what is your name?"
I sat back in my seat and looked at her. "My name is Umbre."
She smiled at me. She seems like such a cheerful lady. "I'm Alma." She said has she rooted through her tiny brown purse. She rooted through it for minute until she pulled out a medium sized white box. "There's something i want to show you Umbre." Her tone was suddenly much more serious, yet it still held her sweet voice.
I leaned closer to her to get a better look. She opens the box to reveal a beautiful large, pink feather strung perfectly on a silver chain. The feather had several colors of pink and white. It wasn't much my color, but i had to admit it was incredible. I looked up at her with a quizzical look.
