"Kate, please. How many times do I have to tell you this,to get it through your thick skull? I love you. This is not a joke. We are soul mates. Please, Kate. Just give me a chance." Chase pleaded.

I sighed, "No, Chase. We are not meant to be. Please let me get to Math." I scooted past him. "Thank you." I said in a clipped tone.

It gets tiring when countless guys you thought just wanted to be friends come up to you, almost praying, for you to 'give them a chance' or 'just go on one date' so they can prove themselves. I know I sound mean, and cruel, and coldhearted. But, I honestly am not a player. I never want to be one. I dont want to break peope's hearts. That's just awful.

All of my innocent childhood friends asked me out, except one. His name is Jackson. He hasn't asked me out because he's gay(the happy kind, wink wink).

Jackson and Marlee are my best friends. I love them like siblings.
