"I need a place to sleep for the night..."
~ ~ ~
Was this guy serious or what?! You sighed, feeling weak.
"You don't necessarily need it though. I mean, you are RUSSIA after all. You could probably get into any hotel you desire." You looked at him. He was crushed.
You sighed once more knowing you were defeated. "Fine, fine. I'll let you know what I decide after my work shift."
So you took some consideration into the matter.

In the end, you decided to help Russia for a few weeks by letting him sleep. You warned him that if he tried anything, he was instantly kicked out. He swore and pinky-promised that he won't. But even so, you couldn't bring yourself trust him.
You kept a 10-meter distance away from him, completely scared that he's going to feed off your positive energy in someway
However, he managed to catch up no matter how fast you walked, ran or jogged. He didn't take off his cute-little smile off his childish face... EVER. This killed you inside.
This got you thinking how the two of you became good friends.
You, a rather simple, serious, hard-working girl like and a childishly cruel, intimidating boy like him.
It wasn't too soon before small bundles of precious memories flooded your mind.
~ ~ Flashback ~ ~
"Little da, Why are you crying?"
You looked up towards the weird stranger who approached you, only to see a boy a few inches taller from you.
"Go away!!" You snapped as tears rolled down your rosy cheeks.
The boy smiled. "Well, da, I'm a country called Russia." He forcefully opened the palm of your balled-hand to give you a small sunflower seed.
"I dont have any friends, so I'll make you my first, okay?" A dark aura grew around him as he smiled innocently. You grew frightened.
"Y-yes!" You said, holding back your fear. He cuddled you before searching to meet your eyes. You rubbed them to stop the tears, holding the little sunflower seed in your hand. Curiously you looked at it.
"What's this?"
He smiled. "The start of our long journey."
~ ~ Flashback ends ~ ~
You sighed as you giggled completely at the thought of the flashback..
'So I was forced to be friends with him...'
You smiled weakly at the Russian.
It was certainly one of the best and funniest memories you had in your childhood.. And his. Thinking about it had never failed to make you smile.
Being with around this Russian made the atmosphere a little more interesting, despite the fact that it was always scary and I predicting with him.
You walked down two more blocks before you reached the two-storey building that you call home. Just before you tried to unlock the door you looked at him sternly.
"Something wrong, da?" He asked.
A lump grew in your throat making you feel a little uneasy. There was a certain question in mind that you had for him.
Feeling awkward about keeping it in, you clenched your fists and swallowed the lump down your throat. You opened your mouth to speak as your face flushed to a pale colour. You didn't want to seem nosy but.. here it goes..
"R-Russia... Do you have a 'girlfriend'?"
Silence corrupted between the two of you. His face turned a little serious but it loosened up once again. He smiled goofily at you.
"Of course I do, sunflower. It's you! After all you are a girl and a friend aren't you?" Your whole body slumped in the pavement before you face palmed.
"Ivan... You're such an idiot."
