Ch.5 (Best Friend's Birthday Pt.2)

After the principal walked off, the boy turned toward you and smiled. He stuck out his hand and you took it, smiling back at him.

" Thanks, I really owe you one," you say using your free hand to scratch the back of your head.

" It's no problem, this might sound rude, but I would like something because I will end up getting into trouble later, and I'd like to keep my mind off of it for a while." The boy said making you almost flip your lid.

" I mean, I could, invite you to my friend's birthday party tomorrow, it's gonna be awesome. I planned the whole thing she doesn't even know." You say getting excited at the end.

" Yeah, that'd be cool, what time is it?" He said starting to blush.

" It starts after school at Auburn ave. 258. Um. Did I say something to embarrass you?!" You say in a lighter voice than your usual.

" Oh no! But I have to get to class. Bye I'll, see yah later?" He said leaving out of sight.

' Wow what a douche! I don't even know him.' You thought as you speed walking the opposite direction he was walking.

~~~ ( To the surprise party )

You hid behind the couch with Brandon, his friend C.J., the boy who you figured out was Alex, Benny, and a few girls that Brandi knew.

You told everyone that she knew not to give her a ride home since you made an excuse since you couldn't. So she was gonna end up walking home with a sad expression since she lives like five blocks away from the school.

Soon you hear a door unlock, someone turns off the lights, and runs to another spot in the living room. The door opens and you can see Brandi's figure in the door.

" I swear I left the light on when I left?" She said searching for the light.

She found it and seen the decorations, her eyes widened. But she also looked puzzled.

You could see everyone where you were. You held up three fingers so the could see it then took one away. You counted down until you got to zero. When you got to zero everyone stood up and yelled:

" Surprise!" Brandi gasped and covered her mouth. She ran over to you and playfully hit you, because she knew you did this.

" Did you do all of this just for me!?" She said and you nodded.

She launched at you and squeezed you to death.

You laughed and she let you go. Her eyes were watering, and you were pretty sure it was from happiness.

Everyone cam around her and hugged her. But that wasn't all she got. Brandon might've told me that he liked her. And I might've said that she liked him too.

When everyone was done hugging Brandon walked up to her and kissed her cheek. The room was filled with squeals and awes from girls.

Brandi stood there frozen in time, starting to blush. Brandon took a step back and blushes also.

(A/n) So this chapter is dedicated to my friend PrettyLittleLiar2004 but I made up her name instead of her real one. So I would like to wish her a happy birthday * mutters under breath* when ever it is.

Wha-

" Lydia I'm still scared!"

As you can tell I've been a little more gentle on him I have no idea why though. * Blushes but doesn't notice.*

" Lydia are you blushing?"

What!? No!

" Are you sure your cheeks are really red."
