and I can’t blame anyone if someone finds out and spread it…
the truth is,
I like the way I’m leaving now
and if anything changes because this secret of mine is revealed,
I’d hate that.
I’m popular ,
they say,
everybody’s kind to me
and I’m friendly too so I’ve got lots of friends.
Even the people that I’m not close to,
likes me and treats me with respect.
That’s my life.
Almost perfect but...
there’s a fragment of shame in it.
The bitter part of my life that
I’ve never revealed to anyone …
a secret best kept as it is now because…
they’ll hate me if they knew.
If they knew that I was an outcast back in middle school,
a person who was said that used someone
and tricked someone for my own selfish meanings,
everybody thought that
I was a 2-timing, back-stabbing friend, and a no-good person.
That was my turning point and ..
that’s why I pretend to be this kind of person when I’m not.
I didn’t do any of those things,
everything was just a misunderstanding
and when that misunderstanding was spread,
I couldn’t get out of it…
and so my only left friend was Shin,
he helped me get back to my own two feet
while I was on my weakest,
he didn’t laugh at me and instead comforted me.
He’s my best friend and that’s for sure!
