Falling into glory.

"Good morning beautiful" Jame smiled as she roumded the corner into the kitchen where she was greeted by her wife making pancakes.

"Morning.." Maura smiled as she turned and pressed her lips to Jane's.

"Whats to eat?" Jane asked as she pulled a glass from the cupboard and poured a glass of water.

"Pancakes. Or i can make you something else if you dont fancy these?" Maura asked, turning to look at her wife.

"Pancakes are perfect" Jane smiled as she walked past Maura gently kissing the tip of her nose then heading back to the bedroom to get dressed.

Jane sat at her desk and went over the case she just closed. A man named Christopher Smitten, An ex soldier who suppered PTS. He killed over 40 men and woman when he was released from war.

Jane, being an ex soldier herself, Knew how to deal eith the guy. And so she did.

"What you thinking?" Vince Korsak, Her ex partner asked as he took a seat.

"Just about this case" Jane replied not looking up from the notes.

"Why? We finished it" Vince asked.

"It intregues me i guess" She signed thr  finally closed the file and dropped it on her desk and leaned on her hand as she looked across to the empty desk opposite her.

Vince did the same, and the room fell quiet.

"Im going to go see Maura" Jane finally spoke as she lifted herself and headed to the lift.

Maura was leaning over a dead body picking out bullet shavings as Jane walked through the door with a weak smile.

"Are you okay?" Maura asked as she pulled out a shaving.

"Yeah. Its just hard sitting up there with all the tension." Jane said as she took a seat and crossed her arms.

"Oh sweetie, Its been 2 years now. Im sure Barry wouldnt want you all to be like this" Maura explained as she watched her wife still grieve over her bestfriends death.

"I know..sorry" Janes replied as she smiled sadly at her wife.

"Dont be sorry" Maura said.

Jane looked down then back up.

"I beeter get going on the next case. Let me know if you get anything on that body" Jane said as she stood up and pleaced a soft kisd to her wife's lips.

Jane sipped the coffee Maura got for her on the way home from work as she watched red sox on the living room screen.

Maura waddled over and sat down next to her on the sofa, tucked her legs under her then opened a baby book.

"Lets plan" Maura smiled sweetly.

Jane looked at the book then to her wife and smiled as they began to look through nursery colours and different cots.

"I like this colour" Jane pointed to a baby pink.

"Me too..I think its perfect" Maura smiled as her had took Janes and placed it on her swollen stomache placing hers on top.

They looking at eachother for a moment then smiled.

"Our family is going to be perfect.." Jane whispered before bring her lips to Maura's.
