Falling into glory.

Chapter 2.

Jane woke up feeling restricted. She glanced down and knew why. Maura was laying on her lap asleep. Jane smiled and moved ever so lightly as not to wake her wife.

"mm..Jane?" Maura mumbled as she bagan to rise.

"Hey, Sorry for waking you" Jane whispered as she gently rubbed her wife's, tight back.

"Its okay. I just have such a back ache, We need a new couch" Maura replied as she closed her eyes and embraced Jane's hand on the aches.

"Want me to run you a hot bath?" Jane smiled.

"Please" Maura replied as she stoof up with Jane and waddled to the stairs, one hand pushed into her back.

Jane guided Maura up the stairs and to the end room.

Maura sat slowly on the toilet lid as Jane began to run the taps and swirl the water around.

"I love you Jane" Maura said after gazing at the back of her wife.

Jane turned around and smiled.

"I love you too honey" Jane replied then poured bath bubbled into he boiling liquid.

"No Ma, Jheeze its a babu shower not a wedding! We dont need cakes and invitations!" Jane moaned down to phone to her mother as she passed Maura the toast she made for her.

"Maybe you should just let Maura plan it" Jane replied.

Jane rolled her eyes as she stood infront of Maura who was chuckling quietly whilst eating her toast.

"What does my car have to do with the baby shower?" Jane frowned.

"No way. No we are not using my car to pick up all the guests!"

"Okay bye Ma..Yep bye" Jane said quickly as she hung up the phone.

"Baby shower. Bad idea" Jane moaned as Maura began to laugh a little louder.

"She's fine Jane, Let her do as she pleases." Maura smiled.

"Whats gotten into you? I remember at our wedding everything had to be perfection" Jane smiled as she leaned her chin on Maura's shoulder.

"I dont know, I feel as though everything will be fine."

"Okay, What have you done with my wife?!" Jane smiled as she stood up and walked over to the fridge as retrieved a bottle of water.

Maura giggled then looked up.

"I just trust your mother" Maura said seriously.

"Okay...Well you have fun with that" Jane smiled as she kissed Maura's forehead.

"Im heading out for a run, See you in a bit babe"
