The theme was carnival so I first thought of hand puppets. At first I decided to go with cute but in the middle of sketching it, I thought "why not a wicked hand puppet?" and that's how the seven deadly sins came in mind. I chose Envy.
The girl was an ordinary little girl before and she loved her hand puppet. She would wear it all the time. The hand puppet was envious, envious that she was alive so it placed a curse on her (thus the mask on her mouth saying ENVY) and dressed her how it wanted. It turned the girl into a lifeless doll with big ugly stitches across her face and controlled her to become a murderer, ridding everything it was jealous/envious of.

This drawing also serves as my art challenge for the day - Lolita Fashion since I'm too lazy to draw something else. It fits the theme right? Hehe. Sorry not sorry.
