Strongest people: Filipinos
It kills me seeing how devastated Visayas is right now.
It kills me seeing those scattered lifeless bodies.
It kills me seeing those people cry because they've lost someone they love.
Some even lost their whole family.
It kills me seeing those innocent little kids, crying, hoping that they can be in the arms of their mother.
But, it brings tears of joy in my eyes seeing those victimes, smiling and waving at the camera as if they're fine.
If you look at their eyes, their eyes are full of pain.
Their homes was washed away by the water. The place they once called home is now a place full of dirt.
The mess that Yolanda has left is still vicible.
I'm very proud of those Filipinos who can still manage to slap on a smile despite of what has happened to them.
But, you can't blame those who keep on crying.
Some are crying because all the things that they worked hard for is now nothing, some lost their mother, their sister, their brother, their twin, their father, their grandpa, their grandma, their cousin, their uncle, their aunt, their friend, the once who once cared for them, their friend, etc.
Ngolos, Guiuan, Eastern Samar is a place VERY VERY VERY close to my heart. We have a resthouse there. When I was a kid, my grandma used to take me and my cousins there.
I saw an aerial shot of how Guiuan looks like earlier ago. And, it made me cry.... Seeing how devastated Guiuan is....
I saw an aerial shot of Sulangan, too. Once again, it made me cry.
Those are the places that I really admire. The beauty of it. Not just the beauty of it, but the people in it. That's the only place where people leave their phones outside overnight and then the next day, tadah! It's still there.
Right now, I still can't contact anyone I know from there.
I hope they are fine, I hope they are.
Haiyan/Yolanda, screw you and the mess you left here in the Philippines. You killed a lot of people. You messed up their homes. You messed up some kid's life. You messed up their family.
