Chapter 3

I'm finally home! It's the same as I remember. I see the entire village waiting for me as I run up to the entrance.

"Hi everyone!" I grin. F/N comes running up to me.

"Y/N! You're back!" F/N squeezes me.

"Yeah!" I grin!

"Y/N?" A familiar voice asks. I look through the crowd to see G/N (guy name ((this guy has a crush on you do I'm going to call him C/N from now on)))

"C/N?" I ask, looking at him. He's my other best friend. He squeezes me a little too tight. I chat happily with my friends and other people until the commotion dies down. My parents agree to let me hang out with my friends.

"So, what's first?" I ask F/N. F/N and C/N give me a tour around the village and fill me in on what I've missed until we get to the woods.

"So, why're we here?" I ask.

"I have a really pretty place I wanna show you." C/N looks at me from the corner of his eye.

"Uh okay." I try at smiling. He kinda creeps me out a little. We walk through the forest, chatting every now and then. Eventually, we get to a nice meadow with a stream and soft grass. It's like a little clearing in the trees. "Wow! It is really pretty here." I nod my head.

"Just like you." C/N whispers. I look at him.

"What?" I ask.

"Nothing." He looks away. "I'm going to go get something." He says and leaves.

"Is it just me or does C/N kinda freak me out." F/N shivers. I nod.

"Yeah, he's kinda weird. But maybe that's his style?" I shrug.

"A bad style." F/N laughs. "So, tell me how it's been, in the human world." She says. I tell her everything that's happened. "Wow, this Killua sounds pretty cool." She nods. I do too.

"He really is. I wish I could bring him here. But, the village elders would freak out." I laugh.

"That's right! So, are you guys like dating or something?" F/N grins.

"I wish! Killua's pretty amazing." I smile. Suddenly, C/N appears behind me.

"What are you guys talking about?" He asks. I jump away in shock.

"You have got to stop doing that, man! It's creepy!" I yell.

"Sorry." He mumbles. I sigh and sit down next to F/N. We chat for a while.

"So, C/N, made any new friends?" I ask him.

"The only friend I need is you." He stares at me. I shift uncomfortably.

"That's not the right attitude." I laugh nervously. He tilts his head, considering this.

"Yeah, I guess. It's just that we're so close and I'm really shy." He laughs. I smile, happy that he's being normal.

"I could help you make friends, if you want." I say.

"That sounds great." He nods. I look around.

"Hey, where's F/N?" I ask. As if on cue, F/N comes bursting through the trees.

"GUYS, GUYS! GUESS WHAT I FOUND?! AN ADVENTURE!" She screams.

"COOL!" I grin and she leads us to an abandoned town. I see some sort of red paint on the walls of the houses that look like fingerprints. C/N looks extremely uncomfortable. We search each house, seeing if we can find cool stuff. I walk up to a two story house. I gasp quietly as I open the door. It's such a cute house. I carefully step through the living room and examine the house. It looks like it's been frozen in time. There are cracked picture frames with blacked out faces and pictures drawn of rainbows and friends. That's what this whole town is like. Every house looks as though it's been frozen in time. The dust settled on the kitchen counter looks like it hasn't been moved in years. There's some rubble gathered in the corner or on the floor here and there, but other than that, the house looks fine. A little dirty but fine. I walk upstairs to the bedrooms and see a small pink room. This must have belonged to a small child, the way there are stuffed animals and toys scattered about. It looks like the owner of this room left in a hurry. I pick up a picture frame to see a small, blonde mouse-girl. She looks so adorable, with her blue eyes. I wonder what happened here. The only thing that throws me off is the weird red paint splattered on the walls and the disgusting, old scent. I wrinkle my nose and get out of there. F/N announces that she's had her fill of adventure, and wants to get back home. I nod and we make our way back to the field. C/N grabs my hand.

"Y/N, wait. I want to talk to you. You can go ahead, F/N. This won't be long." He calls out and F/N nods. "Y/N I need to tell you something."

"Go ahead."

"I love you." He tells me. I step back.

"W-what?" I stutter out.

"Do you not love me back?" He asks me.

"This is just so sudden..." I admit.

"You told me you like surprises." His eyes widen.

"What? When?" I ask. I don't remember saying that...

"On November 17th at 4:37 pm." He tells me, inching closer.

"Uh, how do you remember that?!" I ask nervously.

"I take note of everything you say." He tells me and walks forwards. I walk backwards.

"Stay away! You're scaring me, C/N!" I yell.

"Be mine, Y/N. I love you. I've loved you since I first laid eyes on you. That was at 8:59 am on December 19th. Don't you remember?" He asks me.

"C/N! Stop! I don't feel the same way!" I say angrily. I love Killua!

"What could you possibly mean by that, Y/N? I'm always here for you. You don't understand, those five months that we were apart tore me in half." He pulls out a knife. I scream and he covers my mouth.

"You're mine, Y/N."
