"So, kailangan makapagpapansin ako sa kanya, ganon?" Maine says as she watches the teledrama that Richard had. It was a role replacing the recently missing-in-the-action actor named Lester, whom was gossiped to be severely alcoholic.
"Oo, kailangan ganon, magpapansin ka, in any way!" Madam Caridad said, "gwapo oh!"
I has been 2 months since Richard was baked as the newest heartthrob. He's a great actor. And people loved him like how they loved the childstar Maine.
"Hala parang hindi ko gusto yon. Di ba dapat yung guy mag-initiate?"
"2000 AD na tayo, beh, hindi na pakipot dapat. Hehehe," Alicia said.
"So ganito pala, naalala ko na. Sabi nila, diba, parang magpapainterview si Richard? So hintayin daw natin then isipin mo na sasabihin mo pagpasok mo," Caridad instructed. "They'll ask who is his crush in showbiz then he'll answer that firmly na ikaw yon. And ganun lang ka-easy, sigurado ako magkiclick yan."
She wasn't able to react on their statements so she decided to lie down and tried to sleep.
After an hour of thinking, she opened her phone and checked her twitter account.
"Tiis-tiis ka muna sa commercials. Kelan ba graduation mo ulit?"
"Mami, pang-October ako, remember?"
"Ay oo nga pala, ang hirap talaga sa kolehiyo, ano, madami ang prerequisites ng subjects," says Caridad.
She was then all unaware of whatever the next lines of Madam Caridad really were. She didn't bother to listen. The photos of Richard Faulkerson robbed all the tweets of other celebrities in the metro.
For only two months? She asked herself. Yes. For only two months, this guy was able to align its fame in just an instant.
Maybe he has a good role portrayed, she told herself. Maybe they've given him these opportunities in Teleseryes with a boy-next-door image.
He made his first TV Series a month ago, him as the main character. Fascinating. Two months ago he played as a supporting role in a movie. Then he was able to endorse three products in just a snappy two freaking months, for which one of them has TV Commercial.
She browsed his twitter account, mainly just like any other celebrities, it was just a not-so personal account.
Richard is not so popular yet, but will probably bloom and turn out to be a star in the next few months.
She was very hesitant to do it at first but such acting skills of hers won't be a problem in pretending to have feelings for Richard.
"Alden Richards," Maine read the screen name of Richard from a news portal. She stood up while looking at his photo on twitter and said, "I'll be your leading lady on your next project. Umayos ka."
Madam Caridad cheered, "At last naisip mo rin yan. Madali lang diba?"
"Haha, Mami, ano ba naman yung konting pakilig diba."
"Eh pano kung mafall yan alaga mo madam?"Alicia said. "Di ba nga, gwapo yun at magaling umacting, maraming magkakagusto dun talaga."
"Excuse me," Maine interrupted, "hindi ako mafofall sa katulad non no, mukhang shushunga-shunga nga eh."
Madam Caridad felt a little strange about Alicia's statements. What if Maine falls for this young actor? It doesn't seem so impossible. If this happens, the contract might be very much affected.
"What if you fall for him? " Madam Caridad asked her,"hindi imposibleng mafall ka sa kanya, babae ka, lalaki sya. Hindi pwede yon ha, dapat focus sa career tayo. Malalagot tayo sa kontrata na dapat focus lang sa career."
