Evergreen's POV•

Bickslow's getting bold, partly my fault for encouraging him- well actually, I try not to encourage the idiot, I just give him advise when he really needs it.

The Seith Mage leaned back against the coach, resting his head on his hand, glaring at nothing, and eyes glowing a bright green. Mavis, he was that upset that me and Laxus interrupted his little moment with our captain. I'm gonna have to bother both of them to know what happened.

I wanted to tease Freed about it so much though because I knew Laxus got a good glimpse of what happened and for sure, he was jealous. While the other idiot, Bicks, was really annoyed about it, and Freed... was surprisingly clueless. Then again dear Freed didn't know anything about someone liking him or liking someone- the whole ordeal, ironically it was just not in his interest.

"Laxus, you seem tense, can I offer you a massage?", Freed asked, already standing up. The blonde was used to Freed's generosity and he accepted it like he didn't really care much, but Mavis, believe me on how much he cared. I can't really describe it... Laxus was definitely a nice guy, but the fact that he tries to hide his feelings for the greenette makes him more or less ignorant than he actually is when he pretends not to care.

I immediately looked at Bickslow when the question was asked, he was definitely irritated, trying to ignore the fact that Freed was once again trying to please his Thunder God.

It hurts just watching them all together in one room. It's painfully annoying to watch Bicks thirsting over Freed and Freed swooning over Laxus, while Laxus holds back telling Freed that he feels exactly the same and Bicks just loves to stall the inevitable- all of this is happening and the green head has never once noticed- props to me for having very complicated best friends. It's really hard trying to hold back, I don't want to meddle in their love affairs, I can't force faith or make it, it should just  happen naturally. Soon enough, I hope, that they'll figure it out. I'm just here to provide a shoulder to lean on, a little advice when needed, a wake up call when troubled, all while having a little fun.

"Hey Bicks, something the matter? You look a little upset?", I smirked, messing with him once in a while wouldn't hurt, after all the teasing he's giving me with Elfman. "I don't know what you're taking about, Ever baby", Bicks muttered glaring at me as his little tiki dolls joined in. "Watch out Bicks, that nickname's reserved for Elfman now", Laxus commented out of nowhere.

Why that little- looking all relaxed with his eyes closed and that nasty smirk- he's so lucky I wasn't the one massaging him. Then again, I should have saw this coming, I can never get away with anything around these idiots.

"Uh uh- don't even- really? That's what we're doing now? You guys are so lucky I love ya'll", I grumbled, while the rest of the team laughed, releasing the tension that built. I mean, really, I have to make a fool of myself just for them, they are so lucky.

The request board had nothing my team was interested in, so we lounged around for once and enjoyed the guild's peace. What I really meant was ruckus, peace equalled ruckus in Fairy Tail.

Laxus and Bickslow conversed, putting aside their weird tension, while Freed seemed to feel uncomfortable or maybe I was just seeing things, yes loud places were just not Freed's thing, but he was used to the guild, so that couldn't have been the reason. Maybe he was just a little upset that we couldn't go on a mission? His rent for his apartment was coming up. I looked around my crazy abode as another fight erupting down below. Natsu jumping about, Gray's underwear being tossed up enough to reach the second floor, and Elfman being tossed up too.

I could feel my eyes twitching- calling himself a man, yet he lets himself get handled like that... idiot. I got up walking towards the railings, looking at the big lug I developed these feelings for. "I'm a real man!", he screamed again, how embarrassing.

"You idiot! What are you talking about being a real man! Get your ass out there and fight like one instead of being tossed around!", I yelled out, this idiot is just as dense as everybody else here. Elfman looked at me and managed to get tossed around some more, I couldn't help but sigh.

"Relax Ever, he's enough of a man for you as it is", Freed decided to voice his thoughts all of a sudden, why that little... I glared at him as he laughed in return. "I swear, Freed I will yank off all that precious green hair of yours!", I retorted as everyone once again laughed.

Author's POV•

The guild's wild streak took a break and unbelievably, the guild was calm for that moment. The Rune Mage suddenly appeared to look tense as he gripped the side of the coach. The rest of the Thunder Legion and Laxus took notice of their struggling captain.

'What's happening... W-why do I feel so- so cold. It's so cold, it feels so cold- it hurts!', the greenette thought as he tried to keep it together in front of his team, he didn't want to worry his comrades, he hated worrying his friends, but all three already caught the uneasiness the captain was emitting.

The lightning mage was about to speak up when Juvia appeared, "Freed-sama?".

"Juvia?", Evergreen and Bickslow said in unison, they didn't expect Juvia to be looking for Freed, Gray yes, but Freed, not at all, especially Laxus. "Oh, hey Juvia", Freed responded with a troubled smile, trying to ignore the cold, needle-like pains that enveloped his body. Juvia walked closer carrying a folder, greeting the rest of the Thunder Legion and Laxus.
"Juvia was wondering if you weren't busy?", the blue haired woman asked as she pointed to the folder she was holding. Freed gave her a quick nod and stood up. "Excuse me for a moment", Freed excused himself from his group and walked with Juvia to a more secluded corner of the second floor. The Rune Mage casted an enchantment around them so no one could have a chance to eavesdrop by accident.

Freed's team felt clueless as to what their leader and Juvia had to talk about. They never really interacted much, so where did this relationship come from. The friendliness between Juvia and Freed distracted the team from their captain's previous problem. Evergreen always seemed to notice when her two comrades felt  jealous.
