She hugged me tight, tighter than ever before, it truly was heartwarming for me considering how hard I try to get so close to my children. We walked inside following the other two. It was late and both kids had school in the morning, so I took the time to take Ashley to her room. Laying her down in her bed I notice she may need a new bed soon, my little girl is growing up.
"I love you, darling, you need to get some rest you gotta be up early." I kissed her forehead, pulling the covers over her.
I slowly backed out of the room, turning off the light as i exited the room. I shut the door as I pace to my room plopping down onto my bed. I heard Rose come flying up the stairs and jumping onto the bed, sitting next to me as I laid there in silence. I felt her arms wrap around me and her head touch my back.
"I'm so sorry I blew up on you, you just have to understand that I'm worried about you." Her voice trembled as the words slipped from her mouth.
