Chapter 4- Killer controlled

The door was opened very slowly by one police officer. All they saw was Jay crawling across the floor almost dead trying to get away. But from what? His father, his nightmares, his life or maybe himself. The girls thought he was dead or maybe they couldn't see him properly because their dad was in the way or they just didn't have time because you know a maniac with a knife was chasing them. But anyway. The girls rushed to Jay, reassuring him he was going to be alright. Trying to convince him he would be okay. Then a menacing cackle echoed through out the house. It was him. Want to play. He said. More cackling. He stood at the top of the stairs and pushed a button that sent katanas soaring impaling the last two officers that were stood in the door. They both died. Then a copper opened fire he shot wildly then a bullet went straight through Simon's head he dropped down dead his lifeless body fell down the stairs. He landed on the trigger sending a bullet flying in the air it was heading straight for Jay. Francesca shoved him to the side Kristine jumped in front of Francesca ready to take the bullet for her when suddenly a copper pushed them both to each side of him the bullet hit him. The girls screamed bit the man was OK the girls took a closer look and noticed the bullet proof vest he was wearing. Kristine noticed a piece of paper in her dad's pocket. She ready the paper it said:
Dear girls and Jay ( if he survived)
I just want you to know how sorry I am for all this I shouldn't have done this but this isn't really me something is controlling me please help me.
What was that controlling him? Was the question on everyone's mind. They all left the house. Just then. *POP*. Everyone turned around the lights went back on. And a tall dark figure stood in the window. It disappeared. Then black smoke came out the chimney and went down into a crack in the floor. What was that? Said the girls. I dunno said the closest copper another one replied with "I don't wanna find out either". I saw that thing earlier said Francesca. What do you mean said a copper. It was behind dad when he pushed the button. The police officer looked puzzled. Him and his crew took the kids to the hospital. When they were gone the figure rose out of the crack. I'll come back it whispered Jay is destined to die in that house you should have left him there I'll be back to finish him off. Francesca and Kristine both shuddered simultaneously did you hear that said Francesca. We have to stay with Jay said Kristine Even if that means putting ourselves in danger Francesca replied with a determined look on her face. WE WILL PROTECT HIM!!

Sorry it took so long for chapter 4 I've been busy and I've only just come off my holiday. That's why this chapter is a bit longer than the others hope you enjoyed.
