Before The Dance

Kelly's POV

  My name is Kelly Hampton and I was just a girl with no point in the world. I never did anything besides succeed. But that changed when I stopped being that little girl and became a mother. At the age of 15.
It was the end of the first week of school. Normally, around the beginning of the year I wouldn't get invited to the senior parties but. Luckily I had a friend that skipped a grade named Albert. Albert Shummingham Shuman the gayest kid in school. "Wait who is that. Is that my girl Kelly Hampton." he yelled from across the hall. He embarrassed me like crazy. When I made it over to my locker next to his he gave me kisses on the cheek. He just likes to do gay stuff for fun. But honestly he's not even like that, you would've thought he was straight. "Hey Albert." I said slowly as he walked me to my class. "Did u see that cute guy over there? Well, we're totally on a date!" he squealed. We were just outside the door of my class. Me being me I didn't wanna talk about guys when I didn't have a date to the party on Friday. So I walked away saying bye.

GYM:

Later on that day I had gym. I was normally not that thrilled. But I needed a date that Friday. Last year the school nerd acted like she fell so a guy could help her and she would instantly have a date.
Now look at her now she's the most popular girl in school. Amy Reynolds, the girl that walks in the room and makes everyone smile. So that was my plan. During volleyball I would "accidentally" fall and one of the guys would help me. That would be a easy date to the party.

VOLLEYBALL:

"BOOM!" Echoed the whole gym as everybody saw me fall to the ground. It took ten minutes for anyone to help me. I had the urge to just confess. Then all you hear is the gym doors open. "Hope I wasn't late." said a cute guy that walked through the door. The way his brown hair looked with his baseball tee made me blush. "Well you are! Just bring this girl to the nurse down the hall. Your already late." said Ms. Boldwin as she picked her nose and brushed it on the kid next to her. I felt shocked. I then just tried to get up but then I was truly hurt. It wasn't even worth it, this guy is new not popular. He then walked in and threw his book bag on the floor. I wondered why. But soon my questioned was answered as he helped me get off the floor. I couldn't walk. I then took another fall. Eventually we were on our way to the nurses office.

NURSES OFFICE:

"You seem to be alright." the nurse told me as I got off her stool. "I suggest you have your parents pick you up today though just incase." I then turned around and looked at the new boy. "My parents work long hours." I replied to her. She then asked me if I had a friend but the new boy cut her off. "I would be more then glad to take my girl friend home." He said "It's Josh Marks by the way." "So your settled then."replied the nurse. So then I waited 3 hours for in the office for Josh to finish school. Then we walked to my house.
