Alison Johnson was a normal 3 year old girl. She had a nice house in Knoxville, in a nice neighborhood. Alison was still young, but she loved her life. There was just one thing-or person- she didn't like in her life. Ryan Lawrence, he was the youngest son of the family that lived beside her. But of course Alison has to have a reason to hate him.
One extremely hot summer day, Alison was outside her house, blowing bubbles. While her dog was running in circles around her, trying to pop the bubbles, Ryan was watching her. He was also playing in his front yard, needing some fresh air. Ryan began to stand up, and walked to where Alison was sitting. Ryan always had this kind of toy camera in his pocket. Alison would see him take fake pictures of random things. Once she had even saw him pretending to take one of a flower.
Ryan didn't say a word, he pretended to take a picture of Alison, but her dog wasn't having it. Alison's dog bumped into Ryan, and he dropped his toy camera. It seemed like someone pushed the slow motion button. The toy camera collided with Alison's small bottle of bubble soap.
"I'm sorry" Ryan apologized.
Alison stared at the tipped over plastic bottle. She struggled to get up, but when she finally did, she pushed Ryan. He hit the ground, and began crying. His childish cries could be heard around the neighborhood. Both of their mothers came running out of their own houses. The two women stared at the scene in front of them, and began figuring out what had happened.
Ryan's camera on the grass, Alison's bottle of bubble soap tipped over, spilling its contents onto the ground. By now the two women were repeatedly apologizing to each other for their children's actions.
Both Alison and Ryan were brought into their houses. Alison's mom put her down on the couch and tried to comfort her. She didn't want her daughter to be fighting with Ryan, especially because they would be over a lot.
"It's okay, we'll blow more bubbles later" Mrs.Johnson said, rubbing Alison's back
She had started crying while her mother was bringing her back inside. Young Alison didn't process her mother's words at all. She didn't understand what she was feeling, but she felt angry at Ryan.
Who knew a spilt bubble soap could create such a rivalry?
