Zane x Kawaii~Chan

Chapter 1

    Zane was heading over to Aphmau's house to see Aphmau, and maybe steal some of her cupcakes... He was greeted by Kawaii~Chan at the door.
    "Hi Zane~Kun, here to see Aphmau?"
    "Yes I am, thanks for letting me in Kawaii~Chan," Zane said being polite. Zane wouldn't admit this to anyone but he had a soft spot for KC since high school and always was nice to the cute little cat girl.
    "Zane~Kun, would you like a cookie?"
    "Uh, sure."
    *Zane walks to kitchen with KC*
Kawaii~Chan was grabbing the cookie sheet out of the oven, when she almost slipped on a wash cloth someone had left on the floor. Luckily, Zane caught her before she fell or dropped the cookies. KC blushed profusely, shocked that Zane had caught her.
                       Kawaii~Chan's POV
    When did Zane become so cute? He just saved me from remaking cookies, so that's nice. He has always been there for me, but he probably doesn't think anything of this, it was an instant reaction, right?
                       Zane's POV
    Holy cow?! Did I just catch her? Why is she blushing?! Oh great, I can feel the heat starting to rise on my cheeks too. I just need to put her on her feet right now so this awkwardness will stop.
                      Normal POV
    "Sorry Zane~Kun, didn't realize Aphmau~Senpai left a cloth on the floor. Thanks for catching me." Kawaii~Chan said with a smile.
    "It's no problem Kawaii~Chan, really didn't want to see you get hurt, ( or the cookies)" he laughed.
     "Hey! Kawaii~Chan heard you Zane~Kun!" Kawaii~Chan yelled at him laughing too.
    Zane finally took a cookie, he may have had to fight the feisty Meifwa off, and finally went up to see Aphmau.
    "Aphmau, have you ever gotten a crush on someone who you think doesn't like you that way?" Zane asked Aphmau.
    "Actually, yes I have. It was back in high school, but yes I can relate. But why? Hmmm... Does Zane finally have a crush on someone?!" Aphmau replied.
    "N-no! I don't! I was just wondering!"
    "Uh huh, what took you so long to get back up here Zane?"
    "KC fell on a cloth and I caught her and saved the cookies she made. That's all."
    "Well, I heard KC laugh really loudly from down there and I haven't heard her laugh that loudly ever!"
    "Really?! I made her laugh that loud?" Zane starts to get a tinge of pink across his face.
    "It is KC!!! I knew it!"
    "Fine, it's KC, I've liked her since high school ok?"
    "Really?! Awww Zane!! That's so sweet! When in high school did you realize you liked her?"
    "When you questioned me and tried to set me up with every Meifwa in school, I only said Meifwa because I was telling the truth, KC was the one I was talking about."
    "I'm gonn die from fangirling! That's so cute Zane!!!"
    "Promise you won't tell KC?"
    "I promise."
    "Good."
    *time skip to dinner with the girls and Zane*
    For dinner tonight they had spaghetti  and meatballs, that KC made of course. She was the best cook after all. She and Zane were sitting next to each other, awkwardly. KC was nervous to talk to him after the whole falling thing. Zane had noticed KC had sauce on her face.
    "Kawaii~Chan you have a little something on your cheek."
    "Did Kawaii~Chan get it?"
    "No, her let me."
    Zane reached for a napkin and dabbed it off KC's face for her. Zane's face was close to KC's, he really wanted to just go for it, he saw the way KC looked at him and he just wanted to kiss her so badly, he was aching all over for it. He then smiled, and pulled away, blushing madly. KC had turned as red as a tomato.
    "Thanks Zane~Kun," she squeaked out and left the dining room with Aphmau right on her tail. Which left Katelyn and Zane alone in the room. Katelyn then knew what she had to do.
    "Zane, what was that about?"
    "What are you talking about?!"
    "The very obvious flirting that just happened with you and KC, I saw the look on your eyes and hers too. Don't get any ideas about kissing KC."
   " I wasn't going to kiss her! I was getting food off her face!"
    "Alright, well, just know KC can't really control her feelings too well so don't try anything on her, okay?"
   "Ok, I won't."
                        Meanwhile...
    "Aphmau~Senpai? If I told you a secret would you keep it?"
   "Of course KC."
    "Ok, here goes. I like Zane~Kun! He just has been sweet... And and nice, and quite cute honestly. But Kawaii~Chan isn't too sure how to go about with her feelings."
   "KC! That's awesome! Zanechan! I can see it now!"
    "Aphmau~Senpai! Don't ship us!"
   "Too late, this is what you get for shipping Aaron and I for all those years."
* Aphmau starts laughing and walks back to the dining room with KC *
    They ate dinner quietly, nothing really happened during dinner that night. It was getting late and it was time for Zane to leave, he had an early shift tomorrow and needed some sleep.  He told all the girls bye and was about to walk out the door when KC came running after him from the kitchen.
    "Zane~Kun, Kawaii~Chan wanted to give you this." She held out a bag of cookies, it was the whole trays worth!
   "Uh, thanks KC, I have to get going..... But before I do KC, would you mind if I gave you something in return?"
    "Sure! Kawaii~Chan will love anything Zane~Kun - she was stopped when Zane cut her off and kissed her really quick on the lips. When he finished Kawaii~Chan finished saying," gives her." ........
