Zane x Kawaii~Chan

Chapter 6: Zane's Birthday

    * Little disclaimer before I jump right into our next chapter, I'm SUPER sorry for not updating this story. I have had a lot going on recently and needed to focus on school and my friends. But, it's Thanksgiving Break for me, so I figured I should update on my most popular story!*

    KC walked over to Aphmau's house so she can tell her the plan. KC wanted to throw Zane a surprise birthday party after he got back from work, but she needed to have it at Aphmau's house as Zane's wasn't the easiest to clean. So, she walked to her house to discuss it with her.

    "Aphmau-senpai? would you be willing to let Kawaii-Chan host a surprise birthday party for Zane-Kun?"

    "Of course you can! Zane is my best friend after all!"

    "Great! Kawaii-Chan may need help with decorations since she will be working on the cake."

    "I'll help wherever I can Kawaii-Chan."

    All that day Aphmau set up streamers and balloons and some my little horsies for the party. She also invited the whole gang and Zane's family over. Aphmau was so happy that KC was doing this for Zane. She loved that they both admitted their feelings for each other and were now boyfriend and girlfriend. She was also excited for when Zane got the text from her, asking him to come help her with putting up posters in her room.

    It was now about 3:45 when all the guests started showing up and KC had just finished the cake. Everyone got Zane some presents, some wrapped, others not. Garroth obviously couldn't wrap a present even if he tried so his was just sat down on the table with a card. Once it was 4:00, Aphmau sent the text to Zane since he had just gotten out of work for the day. He said he'd be over as soon as he got changed into his normal clothes instead of his work clothes.

    Once Aph saw him walking up the street, she told everyone to duck and hide. Everyone hid really carefully so Zane wouldn't see them. Zane opened the door and walked in, kind of cautiously, since it was dark. He rounded a corner, and turned into the kitchen, where everyone was waiting.

    "SURPRISE!!" Everyone yelled and jumped up, as they turned on the lights. Zane jumped as well, from shock.

    "Happy Birthday Zane-Kun!" Kawaii-Chan jumped at Zane and gave a quick kiss on the cheek. Zane blushed but then looked around. He then smiled! His mom started to tear up, Zane hardly ever smiled around people. Everyone was happy to him smile. KC then started passing out the cake, after everyone finished talking to one another. Zane blew out his candles as everyone sang happy birthday.

    KC passed out the cake, then had some for herself. She sat down next to Zane.

    "Thanks for doing this KC," Zane whispered to her.

    "It was no problem, Aphmau-Senpai helped."

    "Still, I want to make it up to you in some way."

    "Please, your smile was payment enough." With that, KC started handing Zane his presents to open. He received ponies from everyone and got a special gift card to the cupcake shop in the city from Aph.

    Everyone started to leave, as it had been a long evening of fun and laughs. Zane was happy to have felt love on his birthday from so many people, especially Kawaii-Chan. Zane then had a great idea, he went home, and had to grab a box. Then, he went back over to help KC clean up the mess after the party.

    Once they were done, Zane took Kawaii-Chan by the hand and led her outside to see the sunset on the roof.

    "Zane-Kun, its beautiful."

    "I know. That's why I wanted to do this here. Kawaii-Chan, I have something to ask you."

    "What is it?"

    "Will you, give me the best present of all, and be my wife?"

    Kawaii-Chan was speechless, after all, she was happy to know that Zane was so committed to her. She then looked at Zane, then thought about it for a moment.

    "Zane-Kun, I have to say....
