Pip!

Pip wake up!

I jolt up, wide awake. I watch the small droplets of rain trickle down my window. London has horrible weather, I'm glad we're finally leaving this place.

"Come and enjoy the ride with your old pop."

"Yeah, sure dad." I start slowly drifting back to sleep, I was up all night again. "Wake me up when we're there."

"Oh bother, you're not like my little Pip anymore, all grown up, I remember back when you were five and we would..."

I drift back to sleep...

"Pip! We're here!"

I wake, my eyes are pierced with the bright light of Ginger Cove. Smells of freshly baked bread intrude my nostrils.

"Here's the place Pip! Our home!"

I step out of the car, Look down at myself and trod up the stair to my new room.

It's everything that I've hoped for, the towering ceilings and giant window stretching from one side of my wall to the other and oh my, the amazing view. This room is like an empty canvas waiting for me to paint my true colours onto it.

The first thing I pull out of my boxes is my mirror. I often wonder what it would be like to be my mirror, you'd see my true self in and out. My mirror is like the window to the past, Seeing everything you've known about yourself ever since you got it. I got it when I was born from my mother, she was the most beautiful and inspirational woman I would ever meet. I wish I knew her better, like on TV when Mums and Daughters go shopping together giggling and smiling. How I envy those people.

PIPER STOP

I place my mirror in the corner of the room, and take a good look at myself, My homemade flowing dress with bright pink polka dots with light cherry shoes and my bracelets. I have a love-hate relationship with the bracelets, covering my long, deep scar. running down my whole forearm.

"Knock knock!" Dad booms. "Let's go see the coast"

I head out of the room, tugged by my arm as my dad throws open the doors.

"Where do you want to go first pumpkin?"

I spot a small cafè, Tony's

I point in the direction of Tony's and I follow my dad into the distance.
