Waltzing through the aisles of your local grocery store, you happened to stumble across something that caught your eye - Christmas cookies.
Remembering your promise you had made to Hisoka, you figured it would be nice of you to actually follow through and teach him Christmas festivities.
Doing your best to remember all of the items you'd need to make sugar cookies, you sped through the store, rapidly grabbing things from shelf to shelf. Once you were finished, you raced to the checkout counter before closing time.
Your (e/c) irises gazed down at your phone, checking the time. 8:28, which wasn't too late considering. Since you were in a decently pleasant mood, maybe going to visit Hisoka to bake some cookies wouldn't be such a bad idea.
After what seemed to take forever waiting in line at the store, you sped through the downtown streets, anxious to get back home. You weren't so worried about your food spoiling, rather you were trying to fit enough time where you could bake cookies and still get a solid eight hours of sleep.
Throwing your grocery bags full of food and cookie treats, you opened each bag to figure out which one contained the ingredients you'd need. Now that you had found everything, you sloppily grabbed up the necessary bags and clumsily stomped your way to Hisoka's place.
With a hesitant tap on the door, Hisoka attentively answered the door. Actually, it freaked you out a bit at how quick he was to answer the door - almost like he was expecting it. Judging by his smile, though, he appeared to be genuinely happy for your presence.
"Hey there, (y/n), what brings you around today?" He chuckled, slying adding, "Couldn't stay away, hmm?"
Your (s/c) complexion began to flush, feeling heat rise from your cheeks.
"No, you idiot! I'm teaching you how to bake some damn Christmas cookies!" You shouted, pushing the fuchsia-haired male out of the way, barging into his apartment.

"So that's the basics to making sugar cookie dough," You instructed, trying to make the most sense as you could. After all, cooking wasn't your best skill.
"Now that we've rolled out the dough, we can make shapes from cookie cut-outs."
Oddly enough, Hisoka was very attentive and seemed to take your direction well. He even gave you the impression that he was enjoying learning how to bake cookies.
As you were cutting out some Christmas tree shaped cookies and placing them on a nearby cookie sheet, you noticed Hisoka attempting to perfectly trace out two gingerbread-shaped cookies.
"It's easier if you just use a cookie cutter, the way you're doing will take forever."
However, Hisoka was too focused on his own form of cookie cutting to pay you any attention, which you laughed off.
Slipping a pair of (f/c) oven mitts on your hands, you carefully placed the cookies into the oven, soon after putting a timer on so your cookies wouldn't become charred and beyond edible.
"Not too difficult, eh? You seemed to enjoy making cookies a lot more than I thought you were going to."
At the sound of your voice, Hisoka's golden eyes focused on you, before mildly replying,
"What makes you come to that conclusion, because I completely tuned you out? If that's the case, yes, it was nice to not focus on you running your mouth so much."
He smirked at the sight of you fuming, which only caused you to become more frustrated. Before you were able to lash out at him for his taunting joke, he meekly added,
"All jokes aside, I've really enjoyed this experience,"
Suddenly, you had a change of heart, and you felt that you couldn't physically yell at him. Just great, now he's going to get away with bad-mouthing you just because he threw in some cheesy comment! Defeated, you managed to grumble out,
"Well, maybe you could act a little more appreciative instead of being a little shithead."
You turned your face away from Hisoka, glancing over at the timer to see how long until the cookies would be done. Without a warning, you felt something thrown onto the back of your head. It wasn't anything heavy, and you could tell it was some kind of food.
Irritated, you turned back to face Hisoka,
"What the hell, Hisoka! What was that for?"
Once again, his signature annoying smirk traced his lips, calming responding,
"You said I should act more appreciative for your efforts. So I did, by fixing your nightmare of a hairstyle. Don't get me wrong, usually you look lovely, so you must be having a bad hair day."
Enraged, you grabbed two large handfuls of flour, dousing Hisoka in the powdery substance. Instantly, you felt better.
"Ha, now you look like a creepy pedophile clown! Serves you right, you asshole-"
Once again, something was thrown at you, but this time it was an egg. You could feel the sticky, smelly liquid running down your skin while the yolk had stained your shirt.
All sense of rationality completely abandoned you, as you savagely began to chuck any form of food that was within your reach.
Hisoka caught onto what you were doing, and followed your lead. Just as the food fight began to get intense, a sharp Bing! came from the timer you said.
Synchronized, the two of you both shouted,
"The cookies!"
-------------------------------------------------------
Despite the mess that had been created, making the kitchen look like a complete disaster, you managed to clean off a section of the kitchen for the cookies to cool off. Once they were close enough to being ready to eat, Hisoka placed the cookies on a plate.
Hungily, the two of you devoured the delicious sweets you had made, too busy to even insult each other. Although you'd never admit, it was actually kind of fun to spend time with your questionably creepy neighbor.
"You know, we make a pretty good team when it comes to making Christmas cookies."
The male nodded in agreement, also adding, "Hmmm, not bad at all. You're a little bit rusty at cooking, though. Perhaps you should've added -"
"Shut it, you jerk. I was trying to be nice."
Hisoka grinned at your comment, who would also never admit that he was secretly grateful for your company.
