Chapter 3

Sticks pov

I ran with knuckles as Tails was flying in the air. I can't believe I'll get to see sonic again. It feels like forever since we've last seen eachother. I noticed knuckles giving me this little smirk. I knew what he meant he wanted to race me and see who would win. Pfft, this echidna thinks he can beat me? Ha! Yeah right. I gave him the same little smirk. We both started running really fast and passed tails. "Ugh you guys are immature!" I heard him call out. Knuckles turned around running backwards and yelled out. "IS THE LITTLE FOX SCARED TO LOSE!?" Tails gave off this little glare and smirked. "I COULD BEAT YOU ANY DAY LETS SEE WHAT YOU GUYS GOT!!!" He shouted and starts flying fast. I laughed and ran faster.

I saw the house and I was in the lead. Tails then came up next to me on my right and knuckles on my left. "Just give it up you guys I got this in the bag!!" I said with a huge smirk "Yeah right badger!!" Knuckles shot back. "Ha! I'm laughing I'm going to win!" Tails pointed at himself with a lot of confidence. Just then Knuckles banged into the door causing tails to and then me making sonics door break. Well that was a big... OOPS!

Sonics pov.

I hear the door fall over and I immediately know there here. I see Amy terrified and shadow just still confused. I pick up shadow and hold Amy's hand. "It's ok its just your silly aunt and uncles." I smile at her. She nodded returning the smile. I start to walk down pretending like I didn't know they broke down my door. "OML guys another door!!" I exclaimed and faceplamed. Sticks quickly got up. "Sorry son-" she stopped as she saw me holding shadow and holding Amy's hand. Tails got up rubbing his head and as soon as he saw shadow his eyes widen. "OMG A BABY!!!!" He shouted and ran to me snatching shadow up. "LOOK HOW CUTE HE IS!!" Knuckles got up and just crossed his arms. "Looks like you were busy" he snickered and sticks elbowed him in the arm. "So um..." She hesitated "who's the mother?" She finally asked.
"Whoa guys chill! I'll explain in another room." I said. Tails gave Amy to shadow "can you keep him happy while we're talking Amy?" I said her she nodded "of course dad!" She smiled. My eyes widen a bit but I motioned for them to follow me. I walked into the other room "alright so why'd ya bring us in here blue" knuckles crossed his arms with an eye brow raised.

"Ok so I adopted them there's no mother. So take a chill pill you three" I said calmly. Sticks sighed in relief well what was she so worried about? Eh forget it, tails was anxious I could tell he just wanted to pick up shadow and hold him forever. Of course knuckles just had a plain face with his arms crossed.

Jesus, what's his problem? Was it something I said? Eh, whatever I'm sure it's nothing. I hear knux do a loud annoyed sigh. "What's your problem?" I hear sticks ask putting her hands on her hips. Oh god Everytime she does that she means business.

Knuckles pov:

Oh great the Badgers triggered. Just what I need, "I don't think it's the best idea for kids" I say not showing any emotion. Sonics ears perk up he doesn't respond to me. He knows what I mean but I decided to continue talking either way. "What if eggman comes after them? I mean he's your enemy. So why wouldn't he?" I say sticks looked like she was about to rip my face off but I didn't care I was speaking the truth.

"Well... I guess I should've thought of that." Sonic stated with a disappointed tone. Tails then gave me a glare, ugh great now I'm the bad guy. "Don't look at me like that it's the fucking truth!" I yelled. I don't give a fuck if they hate me, can you blame me for telling him what will happen?

" I just thought by having kids I wouldn't be so lonely anymore and I'll have responsibility and I will have someone to take care of." Sonic replied. "I know but you need to think you could be putting them in danger" I said. "Maybe you should take them-" I get interrupted. "Knuckles I know your trying to help but forgive me for saying this, but do you not have faith for as stubborn and hard headed you can be I thought you at least had faith and would be happy for sonic for once in your godamn life!" Sticks crossed her arms.

I was pretty shocked by what sticks said she never really spoken to me like that but I can think about was how nobody ever listens to me and that got me angry. I started growling she growled back.

She wants to fight, then I will fight her I'm not scared. I'm tired of everyone ignoring me and thinking I'm stupid! I'm tired and done. 'let's see what this badger got.' I thought.
