Blindfolded and nearly dragged through the endless, winding tunnels, after what seemed like hours he finally stopped, giving me a break from the sprinting we had done through the tunnels. "Are you done dragging me around, yet?" Annoyance creeping into my voice. I know I shouldn't have said that, but I was starting to get really hungry. Did he even have food down there? Did he eat dead fish? I shivered at the thought of him doing that. "Hey, did you hear me? I want out of here!" I started pulling away from him, anything to get away and get out of the stupid tunnels. "Be quiet, you fool. Do you want to get killed down here?" You can bet that shut me up real quick. An hour later (at least I think it was an hour, I still couldn't tell the time) he said, "We're here." Bright light pierced my eyes, and it took awhile till they finally adjusted. And in front of us? A brick wall. A dead end. Oh no, was this it? Was this where I was going to die? In a cellar with a madman?! I was going to stop him from killing me or getting to Christine if it was the last thing I did! I started throwing punches, not even sure I was hitting anything but air, but hey? At least I was trying! After A few punches he grabbed my arms and pulled them behind me, ripping out my sockets in the process. "OW,  YOU LET GO OF ME RIGHT NOW!" I screamed. He covered my mouth with his free hand. Gosh, why was he so strong? Or maybe I was just weak? Whatever the case was, I was stuck. "Now you'll be a good girl, and get Christine alone in Carlotta's room tonight. Don't worry about being caught in there, she's left the Opera House for the time being. Just make sure that insolent boy isn't with her, I'd like to make this as quiet as possible. And if you don't?... My dear, you won't be performing another play here ever again...." He touched the wall with his foot, causing it to somehow flip, and he pushed me out and closed the wall behind me. Shaking, I tried to figure out where I was, somewhere near the room us ballet dancers shared. I started walking towards the only door with light coming from the crack underneath, but the floor seemed to sway beneath my feet, and I fell to the floor, unable to walk any further than a few feet. I could hear someone walking down the hall, their footsteps slow at first, then running as I heard my name called. The mans threat still ringing loud and clear in my ears, I let the darkness consume me, and all faded away.

Cold water hit my face as my eyes fluttered open, darting around to see where the danger was. "Oh thank goodness! We almost thought you were dead!" an emotional Christine hugged me tightly. "Can't- breathe-" I uttered. "Sorry, sorry! I'm just really glad you're awake!" "Yeah, it's a good thing I found you before it was too late! We were looking around for you so we could go out, but you had disappeared! I was looking near our room when I saw you, you were curled up in a ball and hit your head on the ground before I could get to you." Meg said, looking down at her feet as if she were ashamed. "We are NOT going out anytime soon. Madame Giry already knows what happened, and you're taking tomorrow off of rehearsal, you need to rest. A doctor came by, and you're lucky you're not hurt!" Christine got up and started pacing around the room angrily. "Where did you go, anyways?" Meg asked, finally looking up from her feet. "I- I don't know, that last thing I remember is seeing black, and then when I could see again, I was in that hallway and felt like I was drugged or something." I lied, though feeling like I was drugged did happen. I couldn't tell them what I knew, or else... I needed to stop thinking of that. "How long was I out?" I asked, trying to distract both me and the two girls. "We spent over 3 hours looking for you, and you were out another five." Meg answered. "Five hours?! that means it's almost midnight! You guys should be sleeping! You guys have rehearsal tomorrow, and you know how Madame Giry is when you're not at your best! Go, I'll be fine!" "Only if you think you're well enough to be left alone..." I could tell Christine didn't want to leave me, but I had to get her out of here. "Yes! I'm okay! But just one question before you go: what room is this?" I didn't recognize it, which was rare, I had explored almost every room multiple times at night. "This is Carlotta's room. We thought it best you weren't with the other dancers for now, and this was the only room not being used at the moment with everything we needed already here." I felt the blood drain from my face, fear taking over. Just one little threat and now my mind had been consumed by it. "Okay, you better go, quickly!" Meg walked out of the room, Christine following her slowly. "Couldn't I just stay with you a few more minutes?" She asked, turning around and coming back towards me. "No, you have to go! You don't understand!" I shook my head and tried getting up to push her towards the door, but only managed a small tap before I fell down again. She helped me back to the couch they had put me on, and sat next to me. "You have to go... please... before it's too late..." I breathed out, tears running down my face. "Oh, don't cry! Why don't you want me to stay?" "I can't explain, just go!" Christine walked towards the door, glancing behind her. She tried opening the door, but it was locked. "Hello? Is anyone out there? Who locked this door?" She started shaking the handle, but I doubted anyone would be able to hear. She ran back over to me and held me close as I started bawling. "Shh, everything will be okay. Someone will find us soon." "Welcome, Christine," a mans voice seemed to say from all around us. "Who's there?" she asked, sitting up a little taller. "Don't you remember me? I am your Angel of Music, come to me Angel of Music." His calm voice washed over us, and Christine got up and started walking towards a large mirror in the corner of the room. "No! Christine, don't go near that mirror!" I screamed, trying to grab for her. It was no use, I could see the Phantom behind the mirror, and Christine taking his hand. I hobbled towards them, banging on the mirror, trying to get it to open. I searched the room for something to break the glass with, finding a vase, and throwing it as hard as I could. Both the vase and the mirror shattered, and I ran to find Christine before it was too late.
