Dear Tom,
I don't know how our teacher found another high school to participate in pen pals. I remember doing this in the third grade. So I hear you live across the country - New Mexico. It sounds cool you could tell me about it if you'd like. Massachusetts is horrid. Or at least this part of it. Big, crowded. Anyway I'm supposed to tell you about myself- I've got a list. So my favorite color is purple- like a soft lavender. I don't have any pets, I'm particularly good at math and I play the violin- I'm okay. I don't know if you'll write back- no pressure. So that's me Jenn. Ask me stuff to I don't have much to say.
