Chapter Two

Chapter 2 : Cassie Faye

So we're out of class now and the school is so full I can get lost in a minute. I don't know this school very well so, it's hard for me too find my classes. Right now it's break so, I'm not looking for any classes. I'm still really embarrassed of what happened in class. I feel like Cassie will just pass by me any minute and laugh in my face.

Oh! No! I forgot my books in my locker!

I turned around and started running to my locker.

Where's my locker? Where's my locker?

* books falling on the floor *

" oh my god! I'm so sorry! I didn't see you! " I said even more embarrassed then before

I started helping Cassie pick up her books when we both looked up. It was very awkward. To my surprise she had these gorgeous blue eyes. I can't stop staring at them. They're so pretty.

" Hey, no it's okay, I see you where in a hurry haha " she said giggling

" Uh well yeah, I forgot my books in my locker and yeah I was going to go get them ha " I said with a shy tone

" Oh but, it's totally cool you don't need them this whole week. " she said

" Oh really? Wow, I'm so dumb. " I said

" You're not dumb. I know that your new and I understand. " she said with a smile

" Thanks " I said back

" Hey, well I gotta go see ya around. " she said

" Nice talking too you. " I said with a smile

Wow, I can't believe it, I talked to her and I got her number!

Can my day get any better?

Cassie smelled really good. She smelled like flowers. I mean like peaches. Wait no, yeah flowers. I can't concentrate at all. School ends at 3:21 and right now it just turned 3:00 and I'm in 5th period and this class is really boring and full of lame guys.

" Hey man, do you have a pencil I can borrow? " said this guy behind me

I turned around and saw this skinny tall guy with brown hair.

" Yeah bro, here. " I said handing him the pencil

" Harry right? " he asked confused

" Yes, why? " I asked

" Oh, just asking I have you for first period. Did you see me? I was in the front. " he asked

" Um no " I said

" Well, I seen you stare at Cassie all the time. You like her or something? " he asked

" Um why where you staring at me? " I asked with a confused face

" Hold on, I asked first. " he said

" Look man it's none of your business if I like her or not. " I said in a pissed way

" Chill okay, just forget it. So you want too hang out later? " he asked

I don't even know his name?

Why is he still talking to me?

" Wait, I don't even know your name? " I said

" Oh yeah sorry, my names Jamal Jenkins. " he said

" Well Jamal, I don't think I can hang out today, I'm really busy. " I said

" That's alright " he said and went back to his seat

I know I said I was busy but, really I just wanted to text Cassie.

School ended and I was walking home again because, my mom couldn't pick me up today. I walked alone, I hate walking alone. There's no one on my block that goes to my school so, that sucks. I came home and my mom was already home from work because, I see her car parked on the drive way.

" Mom, I'm home! " I yelled

" Hey, Sweetie! How was your day? " she asked

" It was okay, I guess. " I said

" Did you make any new friends? " she asked

" Well I met this guy but, he wasn't munch of a friend. " I replied

" Anyone else? Did you talk to any girls? " she asked with a grin

" Um well, I met this girl. " I said with a smile

" Thats great! " she said

I didn't want too talk about Cassie to my mom because, then she'll start asking me these weird questions about her so, I just went upstairs to my room. I took the note Cassie had haven me out.

I added it to my contacts but, I didn't want too text her because, I thought maybe she was busy.

I decided to text her because, I just really wanted to talk too her and get too know her more.

While I wait for her text I went to go eat dinner.

It almost 7:00 and she hasn't replied. I wasn't going too wait so, I just hopped in the shower. I changed and was ready too go to bed. My mom made go to sleep early today. On the weekends I usually stay up late but, I have school tomorrow so, I can't.
