After one hour and fourty-five minutes of complete and utter stupidity. I decided that it was time for me to leave. And besides, I felt like puking after watching Karma... Karmin cuddle up on Leo.
"Leo I think I'm going to head home now." I tell him with an obvious irritation in my voice.
"Oh come on! Karmin and I were thinking maybe we could watch one more; That is unless you're scared. Are you scared?" He asks while waving his fingers at me in a spooky sort of way.
"Me?!?! Scared?!?! Of course not! " I reply with utter disbelief.
"Ok I get it. You're scared. And since when do you go to bed early?" He asks with his eyebrows furrowed and head tilted.
"I don't. I just thought maybe I could get home early and talk to my mom about my vacation." I say casually.
"And now you're all buddy buddy with you're mom. Wow dude. You've changed. " He said while letting out a deep sigh.
I guess going to bed early and talking to my mom are things that I wouldn't do. Maybe I should stay.
"Okay Leo. I'll stay." I said with a slight smile.
"Now that's the Sam I know." He got up and gave me a quick hug and two hard pats on the back.
I glanced over his shoulder to see Karmin scowling back at me. I blinked my eyes quickly and instead saw a smile.
Maybe I was mistaken.
Leo pulled away. He then softly pats me on the cheek twice.
"You okay Sam?"
"Yeah..I um..had something in my eye." I while squinting my eyes in Karmin's direction.
"I'll go get us some more drinks and snacks. While I'm gone you two can get to know each other better."
Leo quickly whispered in my ear sternly. "BE. NICE."
"I'll try." I whispered back.
I sat down on the couch next to Karmin.
There was a five minute period of awkward silence until I said,
"What's taking him so long right?"
"Yeah..you're gay right?
A bold one isn't she?
"Uh..right. And how do you know this?" I ask tilting my head slightly to the side.
"Leo told me. We tell each other everything." She said with a smug grin on her face.
"Is that so?" I said with the fakest smile on my face.
"Yeah. EVERYTHING." She said with the biggest, and creepiest, smile on her face.
"Did he tell you how annoying you are?" I mumbled under my breath.
"What was that?" She said in a confused tone.
"Did he tell you how amazing you are?" I said with a forced smile.
"I know right!" She said with a huge smile while rolling her eyes.
Please make it stop.
Karmin stops smiling and puts the most serious look on her face, "Did you ever like him?.. Like even a little bit?"
I could hear the hint of concern in her voice. This was a great time to lose my memory... That's right! This IS a great time to lose my memory.
I answered the question honestly, " I don't remember." I felt reassured. Karmin had failed in attempting to trip me up.
"Interesting..very interesting," She mumbled to herself.
"Hey guys. Did you two have a nice chat?" Leo asked with a pack of Pepsis in one hand and a big bag of chips in the other.
"Yes. Delightful." I said.
"We talked about you actually?" Karmin said.
Don't.
"Oh really? What about me?"
"How..."
"How good of a friend and boyfriend you are."
I interrupted before Karmin could say something stupid.
