Chapter 3

I eventually told Maddie what Jc said. She flipped. I was screaming in side but played it cool.
*Few days later*
The days that I wasn't with Maddie were pretty boring. I literally did nothing. So today I decided that I'm gonna do something, and I knew exactly what. I took out my phone and searched up Jcs name.

Me: Hey Jc! We should hang out today. Ya know we could go somewhere or something?

I just sat on my bed waiting for a response. But he texted back pretty fast.

Jc: Yeah that'd be cool. Send me your address and I'll pick you up around 2:00?

Me: oh okay! My address is 2959 Milton avenue. (Some random address)

So Jc said that he would pick me up at 2:00 and it'd 12:45 right now so I have about 2 hours to get ready. I took a quick shower then walked over to my closet to see what I should wear. It was gonna be hot today so I put on high waisted shorts and a floral crop top. And since I didn't know what we were gonna to do today I just put on a pair of white vans. And my hair is naturally straight so I just left it down. After I did All that stuff it was on about 1:30 so I had 30 minutes to do whatever I wanted. So of course I ate because it's food so why not but I only ate a snack because I didn't know if we were gonna go out to eat.

It's 2:00 now so I'm just waiting for Jc to get here. Finally at 2:30 I saw Jc pulled up in my driveway in a gray jeep.

"Sorry I'm late!! Kian took my car and didn't come back until 2:20." Jc said getting out of his car

"Oh no it's totally fine. I just thought you stood me up!!" I said

"You? Never" Jc smiled

I walked toward his car and got in.

"So where are we going? I asked.

"Umm we could go to the mall? They have sooo many stores. Also I need to go to the Pennyboard store. One of the wheels of Rasta came off." Jc stated

"I'm sorry, Rasta? What's that?" I felt dumb

"Ohhh Rasta is my Pennyboard hah." Jc laughed

*At the mall*

When we got to the skate store I saw that there were so many different boards and that I wanted one. The one board that caught my was pastel
Blue and had pastel pink wheels. I really liked it.

"Hey Jc." I shouted

"Yeah?" He answered.

"I'm getting this board. Isn't it cool!" I exclaimed.

"Yeah it's pretty sick." He laughed.

We both bought our things then left the store. But we also went to other stores like hollister, Abercrombie and Fitch, Aeropostale, etc.

*few hours later*

After we were done shopping we went to Jcs house and it was around 5:00. I went to the trunk of his car to get my board then I realized something. I don't even know how to ride a pennyboard. Jc's gonna think I'm so stupid.

"Jc, I have a problem." I said quietly.

"What is it?" He said looking at me.

" I don't know how to ride a penny board" I said embarrassed.

He looked at me and chuckled.

"It's okay I'll teach you." He smiled
I nodded and he began teaching me.

For about 15 minutes I was trying to get the hang of  it, but it wasn't working out.

"I can't do it." I said pouting.

"Yes you can. Let me help you." He said calmly.

He began to hold my hand as I was riding the board. After 10 minutes of him holding my hand and me riding the board he said try it yourself. I got kinda sad. I still wanted to hold his hand.

"I'm doing it. I'm riding a pennyboard!!." I said cheerfully.

"You're doing great!" He said

In that moment I looked over to him, and had my eyes only on him and then I rode over a rock. I fell on the road and hit my head hard. I heard Jc screaming my name but I couldn't respond. Then everything went black.
