Karina's POV.

I held Jayden's hand that night and kissed him softly on his lips. A single tear ran down my cheek as I kissed him. And that's when it happened. I could finally see his beautiful brown eyes again. He woke up but didn't respond to anything. I called the nurse and the doctor. They told me to leave the room but what's happening?

After 10 hours

Jayden's POV.

"OUCH." I yelled while the nurse was giving me a shot. "Where's my fiance." I asked the Doctor. In her bedroom sleeping. "Could one of the nurse push me into her room?" I said. " Sorry I can't do that Mr Salas." He said with a sad expression. " Why not?". I said. "Karina passed out while waiting for you to wake up. I'm guessing that her father was abusing her in your room. She had alot of bruises on her face and she lost alot of blood. I found her laying on the floor with a blade and arms full of cuts. I'm sorry Mr.Salas." I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Karina cut herself ? An abusive father?

Karina's POV.

I woke up on my hospital bedroom again. I forgot what happened yesterday until the doctor told me. I got up to use the restroom and my face was all messed up. I cried. I didn't want to live anymore. I went to Cali to get away from my father who has abused me since I was a child. He'd always punch or kick me if I'm doing things wrong. He'd always burn me with the ends of the cigarette buds for no reason. I didn't want Jayden to know until I went back to my bed and saw Jayden's beautiful brown eyes.

Jayden's POV.

I pushed myself on the wheel chair and asked the nurse what roo. was Karina in. I went into her room and I see her face. Filled with bruises I couldn't help but cry. I went up to her and she saw me. I could see that she wanted to cry but she couldn't. " You don't need to love me anymore Jayden. I didn't want to tell any of this to you because I was scared you wouldn't love me anymore." I wiped up her tears with my cool fingers and said ," I fell in love with you. Not by how you look, just for who you are." I said softly. You're really something special Karina and I don't want anything to happen to you. I love you." I kissed her passionatley as she cried. " I love you too." She said.

Okay let's get to the point if you dont understand. Karina went to Cali by herself to go to school and get away from her Abusive father. Her mom left her when she was 10 years old. Her father started doing drugs because he was depressed and stressed he didn't know how to take care of a child. Karina's father was so pissed off that Karina left so he decided to hunt her down and finally found her. Karina's been cutting ever since until she saw Jayden. Jayden gave her confidence to be herself and so much strength so she hasn't been cutting lately.
