Chapter 22: Ha-hurrrr

Summer

It's been awhile since I've talked to Maya it sucks I didn't move on though every second of everyday I think about my short stack of pancakes.

But she's happy with Josh and I know it's selfish to think like this but I should be making her happy. Not a day goes by that I don't regret winning Maya back.

My phones vibrates

Riley: hey

Lucas: hey what's up Riley

Riley: nothing Maya Josh Farkle and I are going to the carnival if you want to come?

Lucas: I guess what time

Riley: tonight at 10

Lucas: okay bye

Riley: bye teddy bear

I roll my eyes Riley gets annoying sometimes I think to myself

I check the time and its currently 8:45 I decided to take a little nap didn't get much sleep the night before.

I lay down on my bed and drift off into a deep sleep.

Beep!
Beep!
Beep!

I flung out of bed and look over at the clock 11 "oh crap" I say to myself

I crawl over to my phone and check to see if I have any messages

Riley: LUCAS WHERE ARE YOU
Farkle: dude not cool to ditch someone

I texted both them back and told them I'm on my way.

I quickly run down the stairs and straight into the kitchen to grab my keys.

Then I head to the carnival

( at the carnival )

I arrive at the entrance and pay for my ticket and park the car.

I walk around the area for about 5 seconds before Riley snuck up behind me

"BOO" she shouted

"Really Riley what are we 5" I say in a stern voice

Sadness washed over her face and she looked down.

"Bro what's wrong with you" Farkle yells

"What We're going into 12th grade some of us need to be more mature" I shout back

Farkle looks at me with hate in his eyes I glance over his shoulder to see Maya and Josh holding hands

Maya looked at me and walked over " this isn't you huckleberry" she stated

"How would any of you know all of you abandoned me for the last few months of school" I shouted

"You're a jerk" Maya mumble and with that they all walked away and I was left there drowning once again no one here to save me.

I walk around with my hands in my pockets passing cute couple by who were on the rides or playing the games.

I sighted to myself

(Maya's point of view )

Josh and I meet up at the bathroom for some alone time.

He has me pinned up against the wall. His lips meet my neck

"Lucas" I moan out

Josh stopped and put me down and looked at me with his evil eyes

"What did you just say" he growled

"I accidentally Moaned out Lucas" I said looking down at my shoes

He huffed

"Wow our first time almost and you are thinking about Lucas I'm out of here" he wined and left the bathroom

I got my jacket back on and decided to go for a walk.

After waking for about 15 minutes I spot a cowboy I smile to myself and walk over to him.

(Lucas point of view)

I was just sitting on a bench feeling cold and along like usual.

"Huckleberry" Maya giggle

"What do you want Maya" I asked

"Hmmmm" she hummed and grabbed me by the collar

"HAA-HURRRRR" she yelled in my face

Our lips were so close I couldn't resist. I smashed my lips into Maya and the fireworks went off literally.

She was shock at first but kissed back after awhile we broke the kiss

"huckleberry would you share your name seeing anonymous is really getting on my nerves"  Maya shouted

"MAYA DON'T BE SO RUDE" Riley yelled

" it's alright Riley she just likes me" I smiled

"In your dreams huckleberry" she giggled

And she kissed me again
